@oluwadamelola, HSG didn't take me 10mins.
Mayb cause there was not obstruction. The only pain I felt was wen d stuff was poured into me and when it passed through my tubes.
I felt every inch of its movement.

Just brace up and do it.
The HSG would clear the blockage if it's light.
If not, u can take serraptase, do castol oil therapy and use clean point tampoo.

Mamas taking vitamin E,vitamin E exists in two forms as d-tocopherol and dl-tocopherol.
Studies have shown that the body uses d-tocopherol better cause is the natural form of vitamin E compared to dl-tocopherol which is the synthetic one.
So if u are buying vit E check properly the type u are buying.
The d-tocopherols are a bit more expensive than the dl-tocopherol.

Thought I shld let U guys know!

Good evening blessed mama's, I trust God to answer each and every of our request set before Him this month. Please has anyone ever tried Fohow products for dissolving fibroid? How effective is it? And is it affordable? My gynaecologist said I can still try for a baby with submucosal fibroid but on saturday I was admitted for malaria then the doctor that examine me said it needs to be removed. Pls Mama's apart from Fohow products is there any other product that is effective & affordable?

*old mama*

cheesy This is saying halo from the other side just like Adele!

@Janix2, my sister we are on the same boat o. I've been spotting all through my fertile window too. The spotting is not quite significant, just noticed when I wipe Vjay.
The surprising aspect is the spotting is mixed with EWCM! But I haven't even felt the usual ovulation cramp since december cycle. So can't say for sure I've ovulated.
N/B spotting started like 3-4days after I removed a seed of Guifei. I also put a finger inside to wash & remove stuffs.

Pls who has explanation for this! Mamas pls don't go mute on two sisters here.

Pweetiebabe, affliction shall not rise again a second time dear.

Baby dust house

Don't know about spotting all through the Fertile window. but some women spot during O which I myself have only ever experienced once in my life. But if its not painful, mixed with ewcm and not causing any pain perhaps it's not a bad thing. Just note to ask your gynae whenever you see him/her even if it never reoccurs at least for the sake of knowledge.

I have used fohow product before and am still tinking of trying it again cos the last time that i used it, it work for me.i have a friend that used it for her fibriod but it didnt work for her and she ended up going for surgery last yr ending. So, what am saying is that what wrk for A may not work for B cos we all have diff body. The fohow product is vey expensive so i will suggest instead of going for guifeibao you can use clean point tampon cos it is cheaper.
JUST MY OWN OPINION sha. other sabi mamas go add more to it.

I used their products, it didn't work for me
we paid like 80k for a start and since there was no improvement, I stopped
let's keep finger crossed, maybe someone else will come out with a success story

@Janix2 I love the smoothie challenge idea. I think what we can do is to get major fruits that are beneficial and loaded with nutrients like the berries, water melons, avocado.
We can start and say what fruits we used with pics.
May God bless all our efforts in Jess name, Amen. smiley

On Fohow Products if that means Guaifebao Princess Pearl, a Mama here used it and it successfully unblocked her tubes but did nothing to her Fibroids. But her Fibroids are calcified perhaps that's why or perhaps not I don't know.

Am currently at home recovering from an open Myomectomy that helped me got rid of Subserous, Submucous and Intramural Fibroids. Immediately the current specialist am seeing saw the Submucous one he told me it has to go for me to get and stay pregnant. He said if I leave it in that these are the things that could happen, no bfp because it will stop baby from implanting, bfp that will result in chemical pregnancy because it will choke up implanted baby almost immediately ( I experienced this severally and even stopped early testing cos of bfp today period after 3days or I week later), bfp with a miscarriage at a later stage in pregnancy or by God's grace a full but rough pregnancy that will be high risk and need to be managed and monitored by a Dr.

Meanwhile over years ttc, I had seen several gynaes before this new specialist including one in a highbrow fertility centre in Lagos who recommended ivf for me and said the Fibroids won't disturb the embryos from implanting or cause miscarriage if I do ivf but then told me that ivf chances is less than 50% in the whole world, I couldn't wrap my head around it, that's by the way sha. So out of all these several gynaes only 1 after trying severally to help me get a bfp finally called my DH and told him that he has discovered that the Fibroids he initially said wasn't a problem is and that he's telling him so that he can help tell me and convince me to have it removed. Because of the way he changed his story me and my husband had doubts and agreed that even if we decide to have the Fibroids removed, it wasn't gonna be done by him because we felt he was guessing and wouldn't want him to also make guesses during the surgery. A 2nd Dr also said to get rid of it but the Dr resides abroad. Another person who told me it was 50/50 for me to get and carry full term with a submucous Fibroid is a Sonographer at one Lab that I used one day.

Before my surgery that's after I had it scheduled with the new fertility specialist I started seeing, I started getting cold feet/second thoughts/ feeling that I hadn't done enough to shrink my Fibroids even though I did both orthodox, herbal and alternative medicine, I came here and asked Mamas to help me recommend a product that they used that shrank their Fibroid and I got none. Instead Mama's told me that if my Dr have recommended surgery, that I should pray, commit it to God's hands and go for it and that's what I did. Some of the Mamas that responded with their personal experiences are:
@ Sugah - currently preggy about 1yr 6months after her surgery she said a colleague of hers got pregnant about her first try at ttc after her surgery
@ Redeemed who is just about getting out of recovery
@ Loistee who had her surgery in Sept and conceived in Dec
@ Wholesomegrace also has had a Open Myomectomy
@ Shofas who also has had an open Myomectomy
Mine was done last month January so am currently at home recovering fine.
You can read from page 1201 where I asked my question on a drug to shrink Fibroid to page 1204. you'll see my question and all the comments I received over these pages.

Am not trying to push you to surgery, its a personal decision that needs careful thinking and physical, psychological and spiritual planning. in fact at my pre op appointment which was 2days before my surgery, my Dr asked me if I was physically, Psychologically, Spiritually and all round prepared for my surgery and when I said yes, he said great. So dear please go for 2nd, 3rd and 4th and even 1millionth opinion (you get my drift) and decide with your DH on the way forward especially if you guys don't have any other ttc issues and have ttc for long. You could still try out some shrinking drugs you could be lucky and they work for you like many testimonials that we've read. But if after all this it boils down to surgery, abeg I'll beg that you ensure that its a Fertility Specialist that does your surgery so that the person will have in mind that the end goal is pregnancy not just Fibroid Removal. So if he goes in there, he would also take the opportunity to check your ovaries and fallopian tubes, endometrium and correct at issues found. My Dr took time and the opportunity of the open Myomectomy to torchlight everything for me. A mama here had Perifrimbal Adhesion on one tube end corrected during her open Myomectomy.

There's also the hysteroscopical abi na Laparoscopically Removal of Fibroids. This is done through the Veejay. Some Fibroids are removed this way but I don't know what criteria the Fibroids will have for this procedure to be done. At the hospital during my open Myo recovery 2 ladies did this and I think they only had an over night stay. one of the women I gisted with said she was already back to her shop selling and that was day 5 after her procedure.

Do not be afraid. God knows all, you might not have to go through your fears. Lengthy post am sorry but just thought I should share fully so all reads and plus I got time on my hands now too to be very active on the thread/forum. God bless.

Beautiful write-up fvine. grin grin Is there a way to bookmark or favorite this comment so we can reference it whenever a new mama is asking about shrinking fibroids/have doubts about surgery.

In addition to open myomectomy, there's also the minimally invasive surgery. Expensive and sometimes not recommended for multiple fibroids in different locations.
