Am full of regret now cos had it been I ve came online to express what am going thru I might not loss my pregnancy cos I did urine test which was postive and had symptoms of being pregnant like heavy booms,vomiting,freqent urine,sore throat,sleeping all thru days. But I just want to take my time before going to see my doc. On Sunday morning I felt cramps thinking it is normal but later got severe I means serious pains, I think I lost dis due to my negligence.

dear mamas,I don come again o.remember my ovumine+ trigger shot story dis last cycle?anyway,I expected AF on the 25th of this month but it didn't show.I was a bit happy but beared it in mind too that d trigger shot and injections I took could be d cause.on d 29th,I started spotting a very very light blood.I don't usually spot during my periods,I'm a 28 days person with 3 days of medium flow.I got back to my base dis morning and went to my gynea straight cos up to now,my period is still dropping in small quantity.so he asked for a scan and requested to see my pad and later asked for pt to be done,the test came out negative by d way.

I became very broken cos I was really hopeful for dat cycle.he has ordered for dh semen analysis and that I should repeat d same injections and procedure like mask cycle.right now I'm on CD 3 but I don't feel like wasting any money with d HSP until dh sa comes out.

my question now is that what do you mamas think I should start doing dis cycle?I did fertility hormonal assay on cd3 last month and d only thing d doc pointed out was high progesterone which he has treated.I don't like d way d injections has lengthened my cycle to32 days at all.sorry for my long post,pls put me tru in d vitamins I can start using as I'm presently not using any.thanks for your continuous help.

I'll second your thoughts to keep calm until your DH's SFA is out. You need to share what your Fertility challenge is for proper advise on supplements.

I was just online and reading up about fallopian tube blockage and HSG. I discovered a site where many women said they had been diagnosed with blocked tubes through HSG and later they became pregnant without really doing anything to unblock their tubes.
After reading several women's testimony, someone posted this and I felt it is worth sharing;


"I work in radiology and perform this procedure all the time. It's not a matter of whether the tests are accurate, you can literally see on the screen if the dye goes through or not. It feels like cramping and will hurt more if your tubes are blocked because then we're literally inflating your tubes. Fallopian tubes are like little strings. Nothing besides the egg flows through them, so if there's a little kink or anything, there's nothing to naturally fix it. The hsg, while being a test, is also usually a cure so long as the problem isn't too big. I've seen one exam that it didn't fix no matter how much pressure they used. Most people were fine, and quite a lot, you see the dye get stuck for just a second and then rush through. That second was someone not being able to get pregnant for being fixed. It's such an easy solution. For the original question, you should be able to request a copy of the images. If it looks like balloons you'll need different help, if not, just more pressure"

I also got to know that HSG can unblock the tubes. So if you have been diagnosed with tubal blockage you may want to try doing another HSG

Good evening, you and your wife needs to visit a gynaecologist for tests and evaluation to see what may be causing the delay.
If you do visit the gynaecologist, tell them you have been TTC for over a year so they can take you serious.

However if you want to take the self-help route, you may do the following tests:
Seminal fluid analysis
Female hormones assay
HSG

Welcome. May your stay here be short and very fruitful. The thread is not just for women, in fact we have some men among us, though they are few. We also encourage men/husbands to join. TTC is not just a woman's thing. It affect both.
So, what fertility tests have you and your wife done? If none ypu can start by running the bssic ones like, se.me.n analysis for you, hormone profile and Transvaginal scan for your wife. They are not expensive tests, and they can be done in most lab.

No hsg yet, hopefully ur DH sa will be fyn n I pray u won't evn need it as u will get ur bfp ds cycle. Cheer up.

mama. NP understand wetin d gynea use o.infact patient no dey hold card for one sec in that HSP.but I was given perodoxine,vit E and was given injections 2 days consecutively. I'm sorry I may not be of great help dear.I don't know d name of d injections

Dear Fimi, welcome and may it stay be short. Plz I wil like you to advice your wife to join also.

Now concerning ur question, you have the best option to visit a gynae doctor. Normally, they would say six months is a short period to be worried especially if there are no underlining problems. Be that as it may, you can insist they start the General test for you both. It's better starting early than late. They include, sperm analysis (including check for infection) for yourself, HvS ( for your wife to check for infection), hormonal test,( to check for her hormones) HSG ( to check her tubes? Pelvic scan ( to check her ovaries). Aside that, hope she understands her cycle well to know when she ovulates? You can also try natural ways by letting her remain like 30 minutes after sex before washing.
