if you've mentioned Jonathan's in ability to fight corruption and the menace of boko haram which made people to lost interest on him, you would have make sense.

your post is evidence that you're political illiterate

Corruption and violence have been in this country since 1960. Nigerians regected Jonathan because they were shocked when he revealed his igbo identity.

It was Igbos that went after him trying to own him. Even declaring (falsely too as I heard) that they were the ones who gave him the votes he had from the North in 2011. That was very... really don't know what to say.

What I can say is they eagerly brought their characteristic self-destroying moves unto Jonathan. How will claiming that they are the ones who gave Goodluck Jonathan the northern votes he had in 2011 encourage any northerner to vote for him again in 2015? They will naturally not vote the man again so that we all will see how much that your vote can do for him in the north 2015.

Igbos need prayers but I believe that as the generations pass, they will be delivered from the lingering curse.

Its your tribe that need prayers. Your tribe should be delivered first from militancy and cultism before you'll have to the gut to talk about the great Igbo nation. Don't worry, one day all of this nonsense will be corrected. Idiots.

Silly rants from a confused fellow trying in vain to cook up lies against Igbos who are determined to have a separate existence from greedy, treasury looters cum murderous parasites.

Many Igbos don't want to share a country with you anymore and yet you keep creating unnecessary attentions for yourselves on the internet creating and posting irrelevant topics depicting your lack of self esteem. You think in so doing you can blackmail the Igbo Nation to pitch tent with you and your cotravellers.

It's only silly fellows who desperate want an unwilling people to continue with them in a moribund country filled with hypocritical bigots and double-faced sorcerers.

The earlier you and your cohorts channel your negative energies towards consolidating your OduaArewanistan republic the better for your survival.

If you people want to leave Nigerian then you must first engage other regions in mainstream politics. You must have alliance with other region, win the love and trust of other region then you can lobby in the National assembly to get a bill on referendum. That is the best way for now although it may take a long way.

Nairaland is a sum-total of what Nigeria represents. Tribal monger forum. Promoters of hate and lies against a particular tribe, but when that
tribe respond on equal measures they come up with useless and one-sided policies to check them. Make una continue. angry

Although he did not win in most of the state in the North but the population of people that voted for Jonathan in 2011 election in the South West and The North is far more than 2015 election. There is no way only Igbo vote could have made Jonathan the president.
In the north, votes Jonathan got were mostly from middle Beltern's ,Hausa Muslim can never vote a Christian, be you from the north or south

Everything you said is correct. But if Igbos do not vote Buhari in next elections don't be supprise he will still win. Because the Igbo population is very small compared to Yorubas and Hausa. Just check the result of the last sensus result you will know what I am talking about. My question for you is why are Igbo people always supporting people of questionable characters such as: Saraki, FFK, Dasuki, Charles and Henry Oka, Fayose, Niger Delta militant etc. Trust me these are the things affecting their image. I tell you if Igbo people start condemning evil today they will win the heart of most Nigerians
Oga, Igbos don't need to win the heart of anybody undecided undecided

Igbo population is not smaller than yoruba population at all, the only tribe that is significantly bigger than Igbos in Nigeria is Hausa due to their polygamous nature nd religion.....
What happened during the last Election is what is called Voter Apathy (lack of willingness to vote which is caused by various factors)
Even if you check the no of accredited voters nd people that collected PVC in the East nd the no of people that actually came out to cast their votes, you will notice that less than 20% of eligible voters actually voted in most Eastern States..
For example, over 1million people had voters card in Ebonyi state but less than 400,000 actually came out to vote.....
Unlike North where there was massive mobilization of voters including underage
There are over 45 million Igbos worldwide, Igbos are high migrants, the next tribe after Yoruba in Lagos is Igbo, same scenario in Kano, Kaduna, Abuja.....
Igbo language is in the Google translation dictionary, for a language to qualify to be in the Google translator, you will knw there are millions of users...
In Nigeria only Hausa, Igbo nd Yoruba languages are recognized by Google nd other world language platform...

Were Northerners condemning Evil during during GEJ's tenure, was APC condemning evil during PDP's tenure.....
All of the sudden you know it's important to condemn evil wink

Infact self, what is condemning EVIL, prosecuting Olisa Metuh, Dasuki, Nnamdi Kanu and giving Buratai, Amaechi, Atiku free pass grin
Shooting unarmed Biafra activists
Saying you won't treat every tribe in the country equally, 97% & 5%....
Appointing mostly Northerners

Igbos have no reason to support Buhari at all...

He has made it clear by his actions that he doesn't mean well for the Igbo tribe, so why do you want Igbos to sing Sai Baba nd play Sycophancy (Zombie mentality)....

He lost because majority wanted power to go back to the north.
MrPresident1:
The truth is that it is the Igbos hat made GEJ to lose the 2016 election. Had the Igbos been wise and politically savvy, building bridges and no walls agains Jonathan, Jonathan may have won that election. Igbos misused Jonathan.

There is no contiguity or affinity between Yoruba and Fulani, all through history, the Fulanis have sought to subvert the Yoruba race, and they have continually failed.

When the time is ripe, and the scales fall off from the eyes, the marriage of strange bed fellows will collapse completely irrevocably and irreversibly.

You are not only mischievous, you are devilish. No matter your schemes, they Igbos will remain Nigerians whether in isolation or not.

That is why I said Jonathan made a very big mistake for over associating with the South East because Igbos are fighting to leave Nigeria. He should have associated with patriotic tribes like Yorubas or the Hausas. Biafrans are like outcast

ok pls sir, if you insist on that, then answer this little question;

(1) your President also changed his identity to Mohammed (Okechukwu) bohari

so why did he lost in SE as you believed that is the criteria in winning an election

(2) After Ng/Biafra civil war have Nigeria with nest violence of that magnitude like boko haram ?

if you can answer these simple questions unbiased you would've realized that common sense isn't common

Can you add substance to this ridiculous claim?

From business to politics to religion to cultural compatibility, both have more than less in common.

Don't even think of bringing up the Illorin angle.

Unfortunately, I am not interested in your education. However, let my prophecy continue to throb in the deepest recesses of your bowels:

When the time is ripe, and the scales fall off from the eyes, the marriage of strange bed fellows will collapse completely irrevocably and irreversibly.

What kind of engagement do Igbos need with Yorubas and their cotravellers who are currently and desperately earning a living to quench the quest for self-determination?

You lots have continued to display your usual hypocrisy and double-facedness, trying in vain to stop the raging IPOB tsunamic movement with your threats and support for the killings of unarmed protesters.
It's even shameful to state that you and your cotravellers find it hard to steer clear of Igbo quest for nationhood, and channel your negative energies towards consolidating your OduaArewanistan republic.

Without mincing words, the Igbos have built ties more than any other Nigerian group. No group in Nigeria can be said to have exhibited more Nigerianess than the Igbos, not even the Yorubas.

During elections the Igbos formed alliances and voted for Northerners and Yorubas for the presidency at different times. For the Hausa-Fulanis, Igbos voted for Shagari in 1979, and Yaradua in 2007.
For the Yorubas, Abiola in 2003, and Obj twice in 1999 and then 2003. And the supposed Ijaw, GEJ in 2011.
The Igbos rallied round and voted these men to get the presidency even at the expense of Igbo presidential candidates.

When Ojukwu contested, how many Yorubas and their Northern masters dared vote for him?

It's honourable for you to desist from being unstable and mendacious.

You really don't need to drag Igbos into your discussions, both online and offline to make yourselves feel good. It's pathetic already.
