I won't wanna sound harsh but you guys should understand that we are also humans, everyone is busy. I receive tonnes of PMs and I don't reply all. It is even annoying when you reply and the follow up question is "can you please list the affordable cities in US''?, and some ridiculous questions.

Yes I have read it on this NL that there is a letter for administrative processing.

Also I wasn't surprised with your first statement, it showed n confirmed what a nairaland troll that you are claiming you know everything about travelling. Pls stick to your cyprus thread where you came from if you have nothing meaningful upstairs to contribute.

Have you ever wondered when you are denied a visa and you ask on this thread what should you put in a session "why were you were denied" when filling ds 160 form, you will be told to write "unable to demonstrate home ties"..

Lastly kindly shut up and read the attachment for your understanding about usa embassy and if still you are not convinced, apply for a visiting visa else I cant help ur case any longer
Leave that guy. He loves papers. Why do we tell those who were denied to post their transcripts. Simple, it's to solve their problems.

Telling them to read those papers is adding more pressure to their problems.

Again, VOs don't tell applicants why their applications were turned down is simply because it's totally against their work ethics.

@biikeys

what do you intend to do after graduating..... Get a job, raise money & blend my chemical & proposed CS knowledge to my advantage...

Okay..make sure you have an idea of how you want to do that because you'd have to look for jobs in your field of study for OPT after you graduate. As an international student, you may not have that much freedom with regards to what you want to do at the start. Later on, yes..but not initially in most cases

just stick with CS if you studied that in your UG.... but I didn't

Well then you can go for something else if you want

Btw you'd have to really convince the VO....ya, I know it would be quite difficult considering my UG & masters don't relate. What do you think about the idea of get an admit similar with my UG, then transferring the I-20 to the one with CS admit.

Do you have years of experience in CS with any company? If you do, then just fill in those details in your Ds160 and take that I-20 to an interview. Just be ready for questions about it..and look up interview transcripts.

Na GEICO I dey use o and Na liability I dey( $137/month) , those thieves quoted more than ($200/month) for full coverage. And baba I fit walk o nothing do me but I must still do therapy just to be sure and I'm fighting that 50/50... Even the police report from the scene blame the guy and I get eye witness
Geico is supposed to be one of the cheapest insurances, you're paying too much. We pay $890 for 6 months on three cars and two of the cars are 2013 and upwards. And for them to rule it a 50/50, you need to hassle Geico very well, they might budge a bit. since you have an eye witness and police report, fight the claim of 50/50.

Also, try and renegotiate your contract with them if you're thinking of continuing with them after your 6 months is over. Make sure to get a quote online before you go so you can ballpark your eventual quote from them. If possible, team up with someone to buy the insurance together. They also have numerous discounts like Good Driver, Multiple Vehicles, Subclass Categories, School Alumni (you don't even have to show proof that you go to that school, just mention any school to them), Group Insurance Plan, Anti-Theft Vehicle and so on. Dealing with insurance companies (either Vehicle, Dental, Medical or whatever is a pain). They will always find ways to rip you off if they think you're oblivious of their crooked ways (AAA was just ripping us off before we woke up). Pele

I really prefer the WES, as one of my transcript (not uniport) is already being processed in my formal school.

Hello Family...hope the day has been good so far. I picked up my visa today at muri okunola, I really thank God. I have some pressing questions
1. Must I inform my school of my flight schedule?
2. My school is in Boston but I will like to visit Texas first for like a week. Can I fly directly to Texas from Nigeria without having issue at POE?
3. Also please, I have been looking for cheap return ticket(my program is 7months that's why I want to buy a return ticket) but the least I found so far is Lufthansa #533k. Can anyone suggest a cheaper price for me please.
Thank you so much for your continuous enlightenment.

while it is very possible....some schools are funny and do ask for a deposit or for you to spend a semester first or some other funny rules...although a lot of school do not

so its best to confirm what exactly is that school policy for transfer of Sevis

Nice. I think I will check out Geico. I was thinking Esurance is the cheapest. I am on comprehensive for $98/month. The car is a AWD V6 2008 Lexus IS 250 sedan car. It's kind of a luxury car. The insurance payment depresses me monthly. Hope I cut a better deal with these tips.
