Thoniameek: Wrong!!!! Capitalism is not solely an American thing its a universal thing. Its the oldest form of economics. Everyone taking care of themselves and doing what's best for themselves. capitalism noun cap·i·tal·ism \ˈka-pə-tə-ˌliz-əm, ˈkap-tə-, British also kə-ˈpi-tə-\ Full Definition of capitalism : an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market "Capitalism is an economic system in which capital goods are owned by private individuals or business partners. The purest form of capitalism is free market or laissez-faire capitalism, in which private individuals are free to determine where to invest, what to produce or sell, and at which prices to exchange goods and services. Most modern countries practice a highly regulated and mixed capitalist system." http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capitalism.asp "Capitalism is an economic system based on private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit. Characteristics central to capitalism include private property, capital accumulation, wage labor, voluntary exchange, a price system, and competitive markets. In a capitalist market economy, decision-making and investment is determined by the owners of the factors of production in financial and capital markets, and prices and the distribution of goods are mainly determined by competition in the market." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitalism "Capitalism is moral and practical as it leaves the individual free to think rationally and act productively to sustain ones life and experience happiness on earth." http://capitalism.org/ 1 Like |

davidif: I know the meaning of capitalism All I'm saying is; in system of government where nothing works like Nigeria, capitalism is just another form of exploitation of the people like the so called democracy By the way you can't say I'm wrong when it's just my perspective to things - now, that's another problem of Nigerians, we're just too full of ourselves It's high time you look beyond your nose Twitter: @ReadyNaija Instagram: Ready_Naija Facebook: Nigerian Youths Website: Nigerianyouths.org |

Thoniameek: Capitalism is not perfect but I would take it before I take any other economic system. Democracy is the worst form of government...except for all the others - Winston Churchill. |

Dissolve the forced 'Oil unity', let people choose who they want to live with, the constituent parts will take of itself. No country can succeed without shared values, Ask Germans, Ask the French. What value does an Igbo man share with a fulani? Zero! So why are we here deceiving ourselves? |
