Firstly, let us not deceive ourselves saying nigeria was great. That is a lol. Nigeria just had potential right after independence.

A lot of red tape removal or hindrance removal . To do a structured business in Nigeria is very difficult, because there are red tapes that can be formed out of the blue to collect bribes from the employer and employees; these bills add up. Generator and its operation cost add up, security awareness cost and interference to business operations.

There are lots of hindrances:
*Quality education or lack of proper education is a force of hindrance, be it the effects of cultism or low moral for the lecturers which hinders our possibilities;
*Religion intolerance and religion inconsideration are forces of hindrance, someone cannot go and build a church/mosque in a neighborhood full of people without considering the effects it has on others for whatever reasons. We have to have rules governing religion like el rufai is doing but more fair eg banning churches/mosques from residential neighborhoods even if there is a school around there; punishing religion driven crimes harshly.
*Traditional rulers nation wide regardless of history should be reduced well well. You can't have two captains lead in our case.
*Land reform needs to be implemented; people need to pay taxes on their lands for the development of the neighborhoods.
*A new constitution and many more needs to be updated.

The Solution To Africa under-development
lies in the ability of Africans to create a system
whereby the survival, comfort and prosperity of
Africans will depend on their productivity and not
on the natural resources deposited beneath their
soil which is always controlled by the elites through
government machinery.

This Solution can be best achieved through the
principle called 5-4-3 strategy.

5-Stands for
1) Provision of Technological Education
2) Provision of Business Education
3) Provision of Start up Business Capital
eg YouWin
4) Creation of laws that eliminate and prevent
government bureaucracy/bottlenecks that
hinders the citizens from helping themselves
and their communities in providing for
themselves their much needed social economic
needs
5) Set up Reward Systems to encourage
individual and corporate responsibilities

4-Stands for
1) Rewarding Individuals
2) Rewarding Families
3) Rewarding Communities
4) Rewarding Organizations

3-Stands for

1) Rewarding Technological Advancements
2) Rewarding Good Job Creations
3) Rewarding Provision of Social Economic
Amenities through Self help.

Once a leader can achieve these things,
Africa will experience a rapid growth despite
the presence of corruption because, the
government machinery is no longer the only
tool for prosperity.

For this reason, Nigeria experienced prosperity
under Jonathan and poverty under Buhari
because, Jonathan applied 2 out of the 12 things
while Buhari applied non.

Those 2 he applied are Business education
and Start up capital through YouWin.

Nigerians can attest to the fact that life was
easier under Jonathan and harsh under
Buhari.

If Jonathan, had applied all 12, Nigerians would
have experienced a prosperity only seen in
Advance nations.

Africans, remember that there are no perfect society and humans. For this reason, there will always be corruption but in Biafra, it won't affect us because we have the antidote to it

Becoming a regional economic power in economics. Firstly we power our neighbors with natural gas, industrialize 1st and exploit comparative advantage in grain production.

Improve infastrure being roads and rail. Do a better job strengthing transport intra african trade.

Then domesticly usual reforms people want. Take land and mineral rights out of exclusive domain of federal government and go towards individuals. Increase ease of doing business. Decentralize federal government in daily activity. End allocation system forcing states to compete. No more sharing system.

Get government out of business. Abolished state of origin for state residence. We don't need ethnic states but simply states.
who is this we that you keep referring to. How do we become signal economic power, who will implement, who will improve the infra, who will reform land and mineral rights, decentralise govt, end allocation, get govt out of business, force states to compete,......... Who

The free market does the production. The State implements policies simple. We being Nigeria if your not a citezen I'm not talking to you for most part. Unless you do business here.

I wrote a little about need for industrialization if you would like to take a read.

Remove subsidy from every petroleum product
Improve the science and technology sector
Implement mechanized farming in large scale
Create a complete and functioning database of every citizen
Abolish national power grid policy, allow investors own their own power grid.
Citizens should be willing to pay tax on virtually any goods and service
who or how will we remove subsidy, improve science and technology, implement mech agric, database, abolish power grid, willingly pay tax, who..... How. Not by wishful thinking chairman

Listen dude there's no messiah coming to save the country for its self inflicted stupidity. Either the people with skin in the game make changes or nothing changes. For the reforms there are already Southern politicians calling for a few I mentioned. SW states apparently if the elder politician is someone to go by. If the citizens dont actually care then there's nothing to cry about. The sgovernment can only act foolishly for so long till they are booted out of power.

If Nigeria is going to flourish people need to start being honest with themselves and those around them. From the small I've seen it seems like a lot of people like to package tooo much. It also occurred to me that some people will do anything for money, ANYTHING! It's rather sad. We need leaders who care about us. Nigeria is meant tothe giant of Africa, but it's doesn't seem like it is

look dude, no Messiah, no development, trust me we need a 'leader ' to coalesce behind. Otherwise we will continue speaking queens English and nothing will happen. Who will come 'them ' out. Nature abhors vacuums my friend and they will simply replace themselves until 'we ' that know, cell the cat
