Instead of Mr Peter Obi to call a spade a spade and say Nigeria needs restructuring, he is speaking in tonques because he is afraid of offending some people.

Let's buy a new car then cheesy
Eeeehhh!!
So we should buy a new car without sacking the old driver that caused the problem in the first place?

I WILL RECOMMEND WE
DISMANTLE THE CAR AND SELL OFF THE PARTS AT LADIPO MARKET. THEN APPLY THE PROCEEDS TO BUYING 3 SMALLER CARS THAT WILL BE MANAGED BY 3 NEW DRIVERS, ACCORDINGLY.

AKA: TRUE FEDERALISM!!

Nigerian's leaders are all thinking with their anus when in power.

After 2019 Buhari and foes will come to offer " How to get out of Recessions and Kauruochion" to their successors.

Chukwumeremeze:

I applaud Obi's analysis on using "a Knocked Vehicle" to describe Nigeria's current socio-economic condition.

But....

- A knocked engine would certainly require a sound knowledgeable driver to realize the car's actually grounded in the first place.

- In this case the driver seem to have minute or no knowledge about the architecture of a car, not to talk of the complexities of it's engine.

- Moreover, effectively Fixing a knocked engine would still be dependent or re-routed on the intuition, shrewdness and action of the Leader.

- Chinua Achebe was indeed right when he noted the main problem of Nigeria and many third world countries in his short epic prose "The trouble with Nigeria" as LEADERSHIP

- I rest my case.

Agreed and come to think of it.... Peter Obi was one of the governors that drove the " molue" that is Nigeria for eight years with the "check engine" red light and all the alarms in full glare.
