Seriously am just tired of this country... Someone claimed he has found a cure to a deadly disease... Why can't he be giving a chance to prove his Hypothesis?... Ooh I get it..If he happens to get the cure then there will be no Grants from UNICEF and WHO to embezzle again... Seriously I just tire for 9ja 2 Likes 1 Share |

Well, if you claim to have a cure, the best way is to publish it professionally in a journal 2 Likes |

Aid aint Aide, init? quote author=GlorifiedTunde post=53776820]How vulgar can those who ought to have a sense of diplomacy be? What Prof Adewole said is valid. But on the other hand, the FG should be giving Ezeibe credit and support. We all know conspiracies are backed up by endemic corruption. But this Fayose's aid really needs to be tamed like a rabid dog. What acidulating remarks! [/quote] 1 Like 1 Share |

There is a globally accepted procedure for authenticating the efficiency of new drugs, let the professor follow it. Fayose and his boy are not medical practitioners, they should stop meddling into an affair beyond them. 11 Likes |

Pure lack of decorum by Mr Lere, It's sad that we can't disagree without calling ourselves names. As for the drug has it been accredited, tested for side effects n so on? I remember Dr abalaka saying he had a cure some years back we all know d end of the story. The prof DAT developed the proposed cure out to know that research of such magnitude need to go through the proper institution for verification, that the world standard of doing it, nobody in the USA or UK just wakes up one day n say they have a cure to an illness there is a protocol to follow, intact we get to hear of such drugs during human testing 6 Likes 1 Share |

BigotMan:He has published it. In International journals even and presented the cure in an international conference in the US. What else should he do? The West will not like it. Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology should not go to black Africa. The Indians & Chinese will soon nick the formula. And sell back the drug to us at exorbitant rate. Since 9ja doesn't value his discovery, he should sell it to the Chinese and make good money. Before others steal it. Now it is every man for his own pocket. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Yorubas attack themselves so easily, he wouldn't use such term "mad" while addressing an Igbo or Hausa professor. Shame. |

The moment people leave the substance of what is being said and get hung up on politeness or otherwise, it shows they aren't ready to progress and move past unnecessary strictures. What the minster of health is attempting to do is to throw the baby out with the bath water by dismissing the entire research because of a mere formality. Rather than try to salvage the situation idiots are bothered about how 'constituted authority' is addressed. How about d 'constituted authority' does his job to the benefit of the masses without getting hung up on technicalities? 4 Likes |

His outburst is very uncalled for. He should show more decorum. The issue with clinical trials is beyond his comprehension. I wish also that the Prof' s work should be encouraged and supported 1 Like |

Lere is more madding mad. If at all the minister is wrong,he should not be address in a wrong manner. Talk less of the fact that, Lere is also a public figure,he should have known how to talk in public. But reverse is the case here in Nigeria looking for cheap something to play politics. Lere of caliber is not worth to hold a sensitive position in a sane society. Likewise am of opinion in support of federal government to look deeply into the drug if truly it can cure HIV and if it can they should allow the use of it. 3 Likes |
