mightyhazell:Shut your stinking pie hole! Which stupid marginalisation? Have you asked your governors what they are doing with the billions of Naira FG gives them every month? Do you hold your leaders accountable for the kind of leadership they practice? Is it only Igbo people that are harmed during religious riots? Have you read about the latest xenophobic attacks in South Africa? Foreigners are targeted, just as it happens there in the North so which yeye marginalisation are you talking about? Igbo people and victim complex. Abeg swerve ----------------------> to the far right. FYI, Shewu did not give me any stupid work. 1 Like 1 Share |

Winning the war was one thing. Faling to learn from the causes of that war has been our biggest mistake. When a marriage is not working & genuine effort made to make it work, the result will be mutual frustration. |

Omoluabi16:i forgot to mention nigeria 4th division,O.A.U that came under the guise of peace keeping but were fighting for fg,my uncle escaped being buried alive by o.a.u forces because he stopped to ease himself in the bush and by the time he was coming,he saw what was happening, they dropped their arms because they believed that o.a.u are peacemakers while they are one with the enemy.fighting o.a.u will succeed in only painting us as the fg have always portrayed us.so achuzie and philipp began to prepare for surrender and the only person they could trust was obj to the chagrin of the born to rules. |

Alexrayz:After the war, all Igbos properties outside SE were confiscated and their money reduced to only 20pounds irrespective of the amounts. They started with that and moved on. Today there in various parts of the country raising structures and investing in the North and West, bc why ?they still want to be part of one Nigeria . The North ruled Nigeria from 1966 till 1999. The Igbos were discriminated and untrusted, that's Y they find it difficult to give an Igbo man a Service chief. GEJ was the only politician that trusted them to hv given Ihejirika the chief of army staff. Buhari on assumption of power started with his appointment and baffled Nigerians mostly Southerners with his Nepotism and Sentimental govt. The SE were denied any of the key position, they were called 5%, if not for ministers that re deemed compulsory for every state, he would have still denied them. If not for the smartness of Saraki, Ekweremadu wouldn't hv been there as the deputy senate President. Obasanjo, Yar'adua and Goodluck never engaged in this kind of divide and Rule we find in Buhari's govt. He hate the Southerners to the extent that after ruling close to 2yrs, he never bothered visiting any Southern state atleast to congratulate them for their support in his election. Remember I voted for this man with hope that he will transform Nigeria, cuz I felt GEJ's good will and breath of fresh air hv been compromised by Aso rock cabals then. These all contributed to the grudges I in particular and others hv against this man. For being like South Sudan after independence, we hv grown past that, Igbos don't really hv the impetus to fight themselves. May God Pay Him back exactly the way he treated IPOB and Shiites. |

Odingo1: The Federal Army lost over 500,000 soldiers in the Biafran war according to the chairman of Nigerian army veterans association. "HUNDREDS of angry military pensioners in the country Monday besieged the Oyo State Secretariat saying they regretted fighting against Biafran soldiers to ensure the unity of the country. They said if they had known that the country would repay them in this wicked manner, they would have fought for the survival and sovereignty of Biafra. The retired soldiers who spoke through their Chairman, Mr. Mr. Gabriel Oiakhena said, “we have been pushed to the wall. The families of over 500,000 soldiers who lost their lives in Biafra are suffering." http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/05/biafran-soldiers-protest-in-ibadan/ |
