Hello, This is not a matter of English but extracting facts from the write-up. The court of law used same facts to arrive at a judgement and you not wiser than the Judiciary. If you not satisfied, go file a law suit against him as you do have a right.

To be honest, it is not really easier.
If it is proven to be a forgery, he will be qualified to face jail term and that is double jeopardy because not only will he be confronted with the consequences of the forgery, there will be no need to wonder anymore if he has a certificate or not.

At the level at which Nigerian politics is played, any forgery can and will be identified. The resources are there to apply the best intellectual and physical resources in determining that forgery. Besides, he will have to be forging a stamp and signature from Cambridge (on a certified true copy) so it is a bad and terrible trap for him. He will have both the UK and Nigerians after him.

Yes! He went to the US war college which he met the requirements for admission.

He has colleagues would have attested and the law has taken its course. If anybody still doubts, he/she can head to the court again.

But it's logical to know that it's impossible to rise to the post of a General, an active and dogged one for that matter, without having a certificate.

When the military of a country sends some men and officers of its military for a course in another country in a mutual training agreement. The other country does not verify if they have certificates or not. Every soldier sent in that move is accepted and trained. What matters is that they are soldiers. I expect some of you to at least know this. A military course is not a masters programme where the receiving school or country must check educational requirements. It is a course for already military men. For you to say its impossible for you to rise to the rank of major General without educational certificate baffles me especially if you reside in Nigeria. The truth is this, right now it will be near impossible, but in the years that the president was in the military, it was ABC, especially if you were from the so called educational disadvantaged states.

Destroy your certificate and go bring your classmates as prove of education when looking for employment or some other ventures where they expect you to produce one. British war college course is never accepted anywhere in the world even in Britain as a basic educational requirement. As the name implies, it's a college where soldiers update warfare knowledge.

Not having a certificate doesn't necessary mean you are dull generally. We have seen school drop outs own companies and become billionaires. But if a company or school will not accept you if you don't have a certificate despite being talented or bright according to your standards. We are talking due process here, Constitutional provisions. Friend, listen now, drop your parochial inclinations, what is right is right! And when you do the right things, there is no ground to challenge you. I hope when you have kids, you will teach them from a tender age to always do the right things. There's no substitute to it.
