Nigeria has TOO MANY TO COUNT: Here's just a few:

Lagos Airport

Abuja Airport

Ogah please we need supporting evidence, when was is signed, who issued the contract, is it Public, private, or PPP funding approach which? Show us atleast a link for us to read to back your claim.... Common $1 billion it took the country almost forever to raise, so where did they raise $25 billion from.. Please mind what you say here, people do read you know.

Rossikki:

Do you ignorant dolts understand there is a $25 billion high speed national rail network CURRENTLY under construction in Nigeria? It will outclass anything Kenya is currently doing, while connecting every state in Nigeria by high speed rail. This is why you and your ilk need to study and research before commenting.

Funny thing is our useless leaders will site that terminus as an example of how our train terminus should be but they'll never work to achieve it. Their children will begin to travel to Kenya to take pictures as usual. If you say nigeria is a developing, you are joking. Nigeria is underdeveloped.

More than three billion dollars was spent upgrading their rail system.

Borrowed money from china.

ours is equally borrowed using counterpart funding meaning we borrow about 90% of the money and we contribute 10%. but gej ended up with 1970s trains

Some Nigerians are so daft and stupid, it is good to see what Kenya is building, Some of you lot could not even see the look of the train before masturbating around, dont come online to showcase your ignorant about happenings in your country.

there are standard rail way constructions happening in this country but idiots are saying rubbish because of hatred or sheared ignorance.

ABUJA TO KADUNA STANDARD GUAGE RAIL WHICH HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND BEING USE.

FIRST PHASE OF ABUJA LIGHT RAIL WILL BE COMMISSION ON OCTOBER THIS YEAR.

LAGOS IS BUILDING FOUR WORLD CLASS LIGHT RAIL SYSTEM.

THE CHINESE HAS STARTED CONSTRUCTION OF KANO STATE STANDARD GUAGE RAIL.

THE BIGGEST INFRASTUCTURE PROJECT TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE CHINESE OUTSIDE CHINA IS THE LAGOS TO CALABAR RAIL, COSTING A WHOPPING $12B, CONNECTING THE WHOLE NAIJA DELTA INCLUDING OTUEKE, ONITSHA AND ABA.

I AM COMMING WITH MORE

This can never happen in a million years in Nigeria, but it could happen in Biafra.

My brother, we are not talking about drug pushing and human trafficking oooooo, we are talking about development. Biafra is a dream, wake up from your slumber. After sacrificing about three million of your brethren, you are still chasing this dream. Do you hate yourselves too much or are you just ready to do anything for money?

We are making giant strides that will DWARF whatever Kenya is doing. Kenya has nothing as extensive and sophisticated as the current $12 billion Lagos-Calabar project.

We need to pay attention to what the govt is doing in terms of projects. There is a push towards infrastructural development. Trouble is people here spend so much time fighting ethnic battles, watching BBN, following celebrities, actresses etc, that they've no clue what the govt is doing, or what projects are going on on the ground.
Eiiishhh!! Take a chill pill bro. They are free, you know! Does it pain you so much to hear another African country making progress?
If it makes you really need to know , this is just one third of the whole thang! It goes all the way to Kigali, Rwanda.

Eiiishhh!

Any place under 500,000 in population is a town or village in my book, not a city. Kenya has only TWO cities. Nairobi, Mombasa, finish. The rest are glorified villages.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_and_towns_in_Kenya_by_population
guy in those two cities there is 24hrs light, and good infrastructure yet they have no oil

bt a country with the highest gdp in africa, cant boast of anything due to intense corruption amongst her people

corruption has become our culture

and it is impossible to change the culture of 180 million people overnight

The Gowon generation failed by letting their peers then, countries like Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore leave them in the dust. Now this crop is failing us by letting Countries like Kenya leave us behind too.

Dude, you can't blame them now. Nigeria forcibly removed its best leaders and ever since we have been stuck with bad leaders ever since. Please tell me who has Nigeria had since then as good as Zik, Awo and Tafawa Balewa?

Please you cannot compare Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, to our own Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos. From the point where you disembark from the plane and walk down into the arrival hall, everywhere is carpeted, air-conditioned, neat, well-run, highly functional and efficient. Their toilets, nko? You fit sleep inside am, sef. cheesy Their immigration officials are courteous, efficient, straightforward and friendly. Our own officials are specialists in asking for bribes...

It is $7 for the economic class and $30 for first class travelling with the train, doing the 472km from Nairobi to Mombasa. Will be doing that trip because over 100km of the journey runs through their National park, I get to record my own "NatGeo" as Zebras, Lions, Giraffes, Buffaloes etc would be a sure sight. Will also get a good view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Dem try in finishing it within 2 and half years.
Pavore9:
Until Nigeria delivers that 10,000km high speed train and Nigerians travel through it, don't downplay other countries that have theirs running. For them, it will boost trade and tourism by delivery this phase 1 while construction is on going in phase 2.

The Kenya's is also built to convey 200 containers daily out of their Sea port in Mombasa.

I am spending my next holiday in Kenya. My leg must touch that train..... cool Nairobi, here I come....
