Buhari and his Islamic cabal must have intentionally boycotted the meeting because they knew Benjamin Netanyahu was coming to warn them concerning the shady admittance of Morocco into ECOWAS. If there's no Arab and Islamic agenda, why would Nigeria allow Morocco, a North African country into a west Africa organisation called ECOWAS?

Not only Buhari and Osinbajo, the king of Morocco also boycotted the meeting. That says a lot. Soon, we'll start seeing Arabs moving into our region and terrorising us like Europe is facing.

We already have pseudo-Arabs terrorizing Nigeria. They're called Fulanis and Kanuris.

And it's not their ethnic background that has made them such a menace but rather the culture and religion.

Toothless Nigeria govt boycotting ECOWAS meeting with a great Nation like Israel is more like a joke
Israel is not a great nation.
Israel is an oppressive State that still practices the worst form of racial discrimination and apartheid in this modern era

As Africans, still traumatized by Slave trade , neocolonialism and Apartheid, we should share a common loathing for human Rights issues in Israel.

Therefore, I support the Nigerian government's boycott.

I admire FFK as the official opposition party in Nigeria.
But when he goes off his rockers and begins to wax spiritual mumbo jumbo, he is on his own. undecided

Later when we call Osinbajo a bigot, corrupt, weak midget who is only using Christianity to forward personal ambitions, his minions like gberra et al would be talking trash.

He did not condemn Northerners killing preachers in the North, he did not condemn Fulani herdsmen committing genocide against Southern Kaduna Christians. Now, he is boycotting the meeting of Netanyahu because he is scared of the North and the implications for his 2019 presidential ambitions...

Let him come and campaign with I'm a pastor outside the SW. This buffoon would sell off Christians and free thinkers on a whim just because of 2019.

THIS IS DEEP

Is his fear of the cabal greater than his fear of God?

He knows the spiritual implications of what he has done even if he will not admit to them publicly.

The bible says “what profiteth a man to gain the world and lose his soul?”

Let us wait and see those implications manifest and the consequences of his action unfold.

what

I find it very disturbing to say the least, Nigeria is a country that has both CHRISTIANS and MUSLEMS

but the way some people are promoting Islamic agenda is very unacceptable

Nigeria is supposed to be a circular state but see them promoting Islamism

we have Olympics ye the country raised a team to attend

the 4th edition of Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan, Nigeria’s participation at games is causing some unease in the nation.

now boycotting ECOWAS which Nigeria is a founding member just because the Israeli-Prime minister is to attend

we are watching

What does bot attending meeting with Prime Minister B. Netanyahu has to do with the fear of God? It is obvious that the author does not even know or understand God. How ridiculous for him to place man in-stead/position of God as if he (Prime Minister B. Netanyahu) is our maker....it is right time to think out-of-the-box.

I will encourage the author to also respect the leader that God has placed upon him...Bible says that "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God".

You claimed to be a Christian, but you don't understand an iota of the scripture...Please STOP talking against the leaders of Nigeria for they are instituted by God according to the Bible!!!

This one is too childish now. What sort of critisicm is this one? He couldnt attend Meeting with isreali prime minister and so what? The only person that should wait for any consequences is FFK and all those who reason like you.
Nigeria is an independent state!

I think FFK should be confined to a mental assylum,
all he sees these days are spirit, Armagedon and devils,
that is a sure sign of advanced schizophrenia.
Nigeria does not owe an allegiance to a jewish state and
the last time I check Israel and Nigeria are still allies.

Acting President Osinbanjo is a servant of the state, under the command of his Head of State, PM Buhari. If he is instructed not to attend then he has no choice.

The boycott is only political since in fact Nigeria does have ongoing cooperations with Israel. Our DSS are part-trained there, and we buy military equipment from them.

Now on to the subtler side of things. While i certainly support Israel, i think taking political sides with them in the conflict may mean that African countries may be much more targetted by islamist radicals. That's a scary thought.

FFK must be suffering from inferiority complex

So Nethyanhu didn't consider any of the west African nations worth his while to pay a state visit to individually, but must assembled 17 heads of state together to meet them collectively in Liberia.

Israel and Nigeria have diplomatic relations and I know GEJ and Obj have paid state visits to Israel in the last 18 years yet no Israeli prime minister has reciprocated this diplomatic gesture.

Even South Africa that doesn't give a damn about Israel is not treated so shabbily.

THIS WAS THE QUESTION I ASK IN THE EARLIER THREAD OF ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER COMING TO ECOWAS MEETING AND MOROCCAN ADMISSION INTO THE GROUP:
it is understandable if the Moroccan king refuse to attend because of his stance and his membership in Arab league.
But I heard Nigeria is nowhere to be found?.
And if it were to be true, What will be the reason or are we not in the forefront of Ecowas?.
it
what I will say in this thread is that it is a pity that some people still believe that coincidents happen in politics and diplomatic issues

The mere commissioner is simply trying to please the North.

But Nigeria is not a Muslim nation and some states with a greater proportion of Muslims in their country were in attendance.

You cannot assume that everyone who is not a Muslim is a Christian. It's an annoying assumption that contradicts your first statement about Nigeria being secular.

And you cannot assume that just because someone is a Christian that they love Israel. Israel has been guilty of appalling atrocities and should be called out.

How many times have you called out the Nigerian government or for the atrocities committed against its citizen though the years. I see hypocrisy runs deep in your blood.

Place a ban on comments regarding tribe, ethnicity and religion the internet and FFK would die of boredom and lack of public attention in days.

What has not attending an ECOWAS meeting got to do with religion? Did he think of this when Buhari spoke with Trump, a pathological Muslim hater, on the phone? Did he say this when Christian clerics met Buhari and had lunch with him in Aso Rock? Did he say this when Buhari sits at a meeting with presidents who are Christians in attendance?

Ffk keeps trudging along this path because he understands how gullible those who constitute his fan base are. He knows there's no better way to keep them under his spell than propagating religious hate messages. Are the authorities going to keep sacrificing our national security on the alter of freedom of speech?

In conclusion, who says Natanyahu is a Christian by the way?

This guy ffk is indeed a dangerous mad man.
