SA is exploring her OIL AND GAS WEALTH just like Brazil explored after noticing they had same "BILLION TYPE/Barrels of oil" with ANGOLA and Namibia,RSA NW.

After 60 billion barrles of oil and gas were disacovered in FALKLAND ISLANDS, South Atlantic near Argentina, Geologists and Marine Engineers believe RSA has oil also.

SO FAR RSA HAS 12-30 BILLION BARRELS OF OIL "GEOLOGICALLY APPROVED NOT DRILLED/UNTAPPED" LYING AROUND OUR OCEAN. OIL GIANTS FROM ALL OVER THE GLOBE HAVE MOVED TO SOUTH AFRICA SOME HAVE SECURED LICENCES TO EXPLORE.

Heres the latest findings from SA PETROLEUM AGENCY grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin Port Elizabeth will be BUILDING FROM THIS OIL BOOM ONCE WE START DRILLING IN 2017 grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

PRESENTING FROM ONE OF OUR 4 OIL BEDS
SOUTH COAST=5-9 BBL.

@AUGUSTUS ...South Africa does not need such a massive number of helicopters.....South Africa is not at war and Nigeria is and if it was not BK no such acquisition would be undertaken....Remember SOUTH AFRICA IS A PROFESSIONAL ARMY CAPABLE OF MAINTAING ITS FLEET AND NIGERIA DOES NOT IN 5 YEARS RUSSIANS AND AMERICANS WOULD BE SERVICING AT A MASSIVE COST THESE HARDWARE.

WHILE SOUTH AFRICA IN 1 YEAR WOULD BE EXPORTING ROOIVALK TO NEARLY 8 COUNTRIES

South Africa is contributing to advancement of better EU ..... Local aerospace company Denel Aerostruc-tures (DAe), part of the State-owned Denel Group, has won a fourth contract to manufacture parts for the Airbus A400M military air transport and air-to-air refuelling aircraft. The new contract, which was won in an international bidding process, is worth more than R260-million and will run for six years. DAe is based in Kempton Park, on the far side of OR Tambo International Airport from the terminal buildings, east of Joahnnesburg.

The new contract is to manufacture ISO locks for installation in the cargo holds of all A400Ms. These components are a combination of alumin-ium rails and cross tracks which serve to guide the movement of ISO containers within the cargo hold. The containers are then secured in their positions by a comprehensive system of locking mechanisms. The ISO locks will be manufactured to designs supplied by Airbus Defence & Space.

Congo.

So yes, we have had wars in the last 20 years. Cowardly Nigeria has never fought a conventional enemy in its entire history.

Southern Africa is peacfull because we are developed and have proper Intelligence Services that kill insurgencies before they start.

Your "combat experience" (of defeat) only exists because you are incapable of securing your own country.

Angry Nigerian soldiers fire on senior officer.

Islamic militants again attacked the remote Nigerian town from which nearly 300 schoolgirls were kidnapped, Nigeria’s military said Wednesday, resulting in a firefight that killed 12 soldiers and led angry troops to fire on a commanding officer.

Soldiers said the troops fired at a senior officer who came to pay respects to the killed soldiers, whose bodies were brought to a barracks in Maiduguri. The capital of northeastern Borno state is about 130 kilometers north of the town of Chibok, where the girls were abducted a month ago.

The incident is a sign of demoralization in the military that is in charge of the search operation for the abducted schoolgirls. The failure of Nigeria’s government and military to find them after the April 15 mass abduction has brought mounting national and international outrage and forced Nigeria’s government to accept international help.

Brit advisers are assisting the hunt for the girls who were snatched by Islamist group Boko Haram on April 14.

But military top brass claim British and US intelligence efforts are being undermined by Nigerian cock-ups.

They are annoyed that the existence of secret information detailing the possible whereabouts of the girls was made public.

“The good news for the parents is that we know where they are” Air Marshal Alex Badeh
The country’s Chief of Defence Staff Air Marshal Alex Badeh told the state news agency: “The good news for the parents is that we know where they are.”

It is feared that could have led to the captors moving the girls to another location.

A British source said: “It is very frustrating. He was obviously briefed by our people.

“By announcing that he knows where they are, it may force Boko Haram to move the girls and he added that the Nigerians will not consider a military rescue because it is too dangerous.

Brits commanders are also frustrated at the Nigerian government’s apparent inaction.

The source added: “There is little direction from the Nigerians but when there is any news they want to take all the credit.

“But this is a Nigerian operation, even though others are doing all the work.”

Both the UK and the US have deployed spy planes to hunt for the girls whose plight has led to a social media campaign.

Nigeria only has 47 Helicopters
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Air_Force#Aircraft

Many of which are not operational

South Africa has 89 Helicopers - all of which are operational as of today
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_of_the_South_African_Air_Force

So... 47 +40 = 87.

You still have 1 less than us... for a military of 130 000

We have a military of 82 000

So, the ratio of helicopters per men is:

SANDF: 921 men per helicopter
Nigerian Disgrace Force: 1 494 men per helicopter.

Conclusion: The PEACTIME SANDF is a more airmobile force than the WARTIME Nigerian Army - and thus is better equipped

The numbers never lie

@AUGUSTUS DO YOU RECOGNISED THESE HOOLIGANS AS PROFESSIONAL ....SUCH OCCURS UNDER A RAG TAG ARMY

Soldiers have reportedly been on a rampage in Ikorodu after a bus driver crushed a soldier to death. The BRT driver who hit the soldier ran into Palmgrove estate in order to avoid the wrath of other soldiers present. Upon noticing that the driver ran away, the Army men ran into Palmgrove estate and when they couldn’t find the driver, seized one of the Estate’s security men.

They also stopped BRT buses and beat passengers and set some of the buses on fire. Spectators who were trying to take pictures claim to have been beaten by the soldiers as well. According to an eye-witness, two civilians were allegedly beaten up and a guy who was taking pictures was beaten and his phone smashed on the express road.

Then the soldiers allegedly started vandalizing the buses! According to the source, some soldiers left the express and took big sticks from women cooking by the road to break the glasses of the bus. Then one of them took stones and allegedly threw it into the crowd twice. Now the whole express is blocked.
