The positive aspect of it is that there is no time too late to start walking to the positive direction of life execept God says so.

So what lesson does this teach us: " we should strive to achieve our purpose, despite our mistakes". Good, we know that. but i have to say this, your mistakes always leave scars, and moreso, your mistakes were grave.15 abortions!, that's gross.I hope you can live with that.
