Very true bro. And they have already activated wifi capability on these series leaving out the 4930 and its friends.

@Pidzo. Please can you tell me step by step how to restore my decoder option 4922A. I have downloaded the patch but it not allowing to update it as there is no ok option.

Hi Gurus in the house. I just bought my strong HD 4922A decoder and only few days later the option is cut-off. I downloaded the patch and i would not update my decoder even when i can view it on File Transfer Manager. Note that there is no ok option available for click. Thanks and waiting for your quick response.

Hope u unziped the file first.

If not, first unzip. Then just scroll to the software and press ok on ur remote. U dont need ok option.

GuruS in the house dis is directed to u;I use a 4669xii receiver and recently I noticed it upgraded by itself and after sometime when it back on the 'option' menu was gone And the 6969 code wasn't working again,then someone helped me to reactivate the option menu back n since then anytime I turn d system on I notiCe it trying to update again n I don't wAnt dat.my question now is how can I stop dat permanently,do I av to download a patch or what should I do?help guys...its urgent

my str4922A got infected by OTA Dowloading although i didn't allow it to finish b4 i removed the Rf cable. Pls do i need to upgrade it or what should i do? Thank u.

This is very strange. I was watching Multi TV when I turned off my 4669x. When I turned it on again all my satellites are gone. In their place is Intelsat 20 with only the MyTv channels. My OTA update setting is still on User and another satellite so I don't know what happened. Any ideas? It will take me a long time to enter all my satellites and frequencies again

I said SABC and not Etv. This is SABC on KU band Intelsat 20.

Try loading new or latest patch/software for ur machine from persian whizkid or crosat. but first try 6969 and see if it will turn the patch on.

If you buy your receiver lately, it is most likely to that your receiver is fake. So, verify that it is not fake before you load any software.

I have been using it for years now and I got it from strong office ,now its on I used the 6969 to turn on patch and it came up but am only seeing 3 things R232,dongle,and sssp the dongle is not two as they said it would be what should I do now thanks alot

This your receiver cant get multi tv as it broadcast's in mpeg 4 format whereas ur receiver is mpeg 2.

My advice is to go get srt 4922A which is a very good machine and is also on the cheap side.

@jezsie, not all channels of daarsat are working.
do you receive infinity package with your 4930L?
