investnow2013: The state has to do more for arts. They need to create a state art gallery where artists can showcase art like at The Kenneth Dike library. They should also commission art work to be displayed in government ministries and agencies. They can also do more for sculpture in places like Ekwueme Square, Secretariat, government house to showcase the rich heritage of the Anambra people. 6 Likes |

investnow2013: I have always feared that these people will soon use the demolition as another weapon, Now i have nothing against demolishing fences too close to the expressway. But please let them focus on eradicating illegal structures and street markets from every street and also illegal petrol stations or homes built too close to major highways. 2 Likes |

Cjrane2: They should also be enforcing issues of people building on right of way under high tension lines, 11kv lines and along the expressway. People need to start conforming to law. Law and order is the hallmark of civilized society. Planning and urban development boards should be doing a lot more monitoring and compliance of building codes. The cost of building permits has to be increased and the skill base of these agencies beefed up. The state needs to require that building construction engineers are licensed by professional associations. 1 Like |

Following His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano’s committed effort in Delivering Good Governance to Anambra People and his Willingness to work harder in his second tenure, he set up the Anambra State Project Management And Monitoring Office PMMO. Will-Deliverology is the core ideology of Anambra State Project Management & Monitoring Office, led by the Director General Engr Mike Ogbuekwe. Today members of the Project Management and Monitoring Office team assigned to monitor roads under construction in the state capital went to inspect the Esther Obiakor road construction site by Sagez Construction Company. The Esther Obiakor road will serve as an access road to Ifite, Amansea through Agu-Awka, Amaenyi, and connecting Enugu State. This road will attract massive development to this cluster while decongesting the Arroma junction along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway. 4 Likes

A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR AWKA's BEST TRAFFIC WARDER (IFEDIORANMA DARLINGTON .C....) I don't know this guy from anywhere, we've never talked before but with the passion in which he embraced his work means so much to me... Residents of Awka can attest to the fact that this guy brings smiles to the faces of everyone that passes through Aroma Junction. So sometime last month I thought of doing something extraordinary for him... To let him know there are ones out there who truly appreciate him for being who he is. I shared the idea with Claire Akunna and we met some of his colleagues who revealed to us that his birthday comes up today being 18th of May. I contracted the best Artist in Awka @Cool Artz to make a portrait of him in Action and Chisom Udeoba to design a beautiful birthday cake and today me and my friends put up a surprise birthday party for a man we're all meeting for the first time. His Joy knew no bounds as his colleagues cunningly dragged him to the venue of the party and meeting a surprise birthday song from a group of young people... The pictures can tell better. Lol His appreciation speech was out of this world which got all of us so emotional... Indeed today is such a blessed one. Shout-out to my brother my friend Chris Chike Uhio who came all the way from Enugu for this... My brother my friend Dexterous David for the dope photography Remigius Okoli abandoned his lectures Golden Grace, Nkiru, and Joseph P Chikezie for making today worthwhile... I Appreciate you all... WE ARE HAPPY WHEN OTHERS ARE HAPPY. UBUNTU FOREVER...!!! 6 Likes 2 Shares

investnow2013: I am glad these people are removing these illegal markets and filling stations that has bastardized Anambra state for decades. They should continue with this work courageously. However, they should quickly move into Nnewi city. Nnewi is the city with the worst violations with illegal markets and petrol stations in Africa. People buy a residential plot of land and instead of building residential buildings, they build filling stations on residential plots of land! It sounds really crazy but it is true in Anambra. Especially in Nnewi! The team needs to move heavily into Nnewi and help sanitize the area. In Nnewi, unscrupulous business men build filling stations on residential plots of land, right next to people's homes who cook with gas, kerosene or firewood! That is why the last two major fire diasaters in Nnewi-based filling stations took hundreds of innocent lives because filling stations are always illegally located among people's homes! See another one being built in Otolo, Nnewi below. 5 Likes
