Don't say that. Someone like Dora Akunyili (RIP) never let ethnicity get in the way of her job. The fake drugs people she fought were largely her fellow Igbos.

She was an exemplary leader worthy of Igbo Presidency in 2023.

Bless her soul but she was not a political leader. She was a professional appointed to work in her field. When your professionalism is in question, ethnic bias is often reduced or gotten out of the way. This is similar to Barth Nnaji who was the minister of power & so on.

Being a political leader in a multi-ethnic state in Nigeria is difficult. Do you expect Buhari or any political figure to take the center stage condemning their own people? Jonathan did not condemn ND militants too & neither did Obasanjo condemn any Yoruba openly while he was president even though his people did not like him and finally, Aguiyi Ironsi never condemned the Igbo coupists of 1966 and neither did he jail/execute them.
