Female teacher, 37, admits to having her student's BABY after becoming his foster mother following a sexual relationship starting 'when he was 14'

*Convinced mother to let him move in as part of a 'partial custody' arrangement
*Pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual battery and will be sentenced May 24

A teacher has pleaded guilty to having her underage student's baby after spending three years grooming the student and becoming his foster mother.

Laura Lynn Cross, 37, of Tallmadge, Ohio, started grooming the child when he was in eighth grade, when students are between the ages of 13 and 14.

Cross, English teacher at Buchtel High School, pleaded guilty on Friday to three counts of sexual battery.



She began by inviting the student to play in her swimming pool before convincing his mother to let him move in as part of a court-approved 'partial parental custody' arrangement.


Cross was arrested earlier this month after police learned she had given birth to the boy's baby.


The teenager's mother complained the police about the affair and contacted prosecutors in Tallmadge.

And his father claimed to news5cleveland that he first raised concerns with police as early as 2012 when his son was a freshman, but Cross was punished.

He said of Cross, who resigned from her teaching position in January 2015:


'First of all, she's a schoolteacher.

She is due to be sentenced by Summit County Common Pleas Judge Tammy O'Brien on May 24.

Woah! The boy stumbled back in surprise and guess what... His audition didnt go too well after that kiss... Lol... Soon after he was interviewed and he confessed that he didn't like the fact he was cajoled and tricked into getting that kiss. He said he wanted his first kiss to be really special and with someone he cares about.

Why am I bringing this case of Katy Perry and the 19 year old kid up? Well it is simple... If the roles were reversed and it was a 33 year old man who tricked a 19 year old lady in that manner just to steal a kiss from her, the man would be accused of some form of sexual harassment albeit in subtle form. But now that it was a 33 year old lady (Katy) doing so on a 19 year boy, it looked "romantic" and "cute" abi??

Truly this is just part of the issues with the world today. We are so stereotyped that we would probably not even believe our 7 years old son who can boldly tell us that his aunty at school is possibly playing with his penis or something. We would say Junior is kinda imagining things. Because this is part of how it all starts.
