Anyone familiar with Ijaw names should know that it is not uncommon for Ijaws to bear Igbo names and have Igbo ancestors. My family name is Uwakwe for example.

I have heard that Jonathan's estranged father is of Okrika lineage sef, and that Ogbia is his mothers town. Heavy Igbo influence in Okrika could explain his name . . . possibly.
