Where did u get all those songs from? I can remember only bout six of them!!! And those are the familiar names.
Re: A Place For Thirty-Somethings by ababoy1(m): 1:45pm On Jan 18, 2006
Most of them were hits in the mid 80’s. I am a huge music fan, and while I don’t play in clubs in the UK. I do my bit for house parties. Most of the tracks listed here have been covered (sampled) by today’s artists. Funk music of the 80s was the real deal. And still is…

so true mate, just listen to classics like Earth Wind and Fire - Lets groove it still sounds as fresh today as it was when it was released in the 80s. I'm listening to John White's 'Night people' at the moment, great jam wink

Please do you have the collection of songs of Luther Vandross? There's a particular one i love but can't seem to remember the name. But its a late 90's/early 2000 song though.

I wish i could keep it going but the money it was making wasn't covering the cost of running it and after 5 years i had to make a conscious decision to end it sad

Re: A Place For Thirty-Somethings by ababoy1(m): 9:25pm On Jan 18, 2006
@ bagoma

Hold Me - duet with Teddy Pendergrass
What a track

I'll hold you, and touch you
And make you my woman
And give you my love with sweet surrender
Tonight our hearts will beat as one
And I will hold you, touch you
And make you my woman tonight

There's something in your eyes I see
A pure and simple honesty

Chorus:
Hold me in your arms tonight
Fill my life with pleasure
Let's not waste this precious time
This moment's ours to treasure
Hold me in your arms tonight
We'll make it last forever
When the morning sun appears
We'll find our way together

I believe you when you say that you love me
Know that I won't take you for granted
Tonight the magic has begun
So won't you hold me, touch me
Make me your woman tonight

There's something in your eyes I see
I won't betray your trust in me

I just love music. I have "Your my sweetie, my sugar " in AAC Audio. I quite liked the Charlie Boy track too. One track I really want is Omoge - Mike Okri, and any of Felix Liberty's music.
