SEYI371 YOU HAVE NO CASE.
THOSE ATHEISTS THAT DON'T TROLL ISLAM BUT ONLY CHRISTIANITY DON'T DO SO BECAUSE THEY FEAR ISLAM, NO. THEY DO SO BECAUSE THEY ARE MAINLY EX-CHRISTIANS AND HAVE THE CHRISTIAN CULTURE IN THEM, AND ON THIS FORUM AND ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA I CAN BOAST THAT THERE ARE MORE EX-CHRISTIAN ATHEISTS THAN THERE ARE EX-MUSLIM ATHEIST... MAYBE 80-20 IF THEY ARE 100 IN TOTAL. AGAIN EX-MUSLIMS HARDLY COME OUT OF THEIR SAFETY HOLES. THAT SHOULD EXPLAIN WHY THERE ARE MORE POSTS TROLLING CHRISTIANITY THAN THERE ARE TROLLING ISLAM.

ABOUT LETTING PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT, YOU DON'T DO THAT AS CHRISTIANS. YOU GO AFTER PEOPLE, TAKE THEIR LAND, MONEY, FREEDOM AND LEAVE THEM WITH THREATS OF HELL AND A LIFE OF LACK IF THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN YOUR NONSENSE.
BUT EVEN IF YOU LET PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT, WE WON'T DO THAT.

ALL RELIGIOUS/SUPERSTISIOUS BELIEFS ARE DETRIMENTAL TO OUR UNITY AS HUMANS, AND ALSO TO OUR EXISTENCE AS A SPECIE.

BELIEFS MUST BE ERADICATED AND WE WON'T STOP WORKING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Okay, continue your eradication process.
Good luck.
No qualms.

Apostle Paul, wrote:
The anger of God is being revealed from heaven
against all the Godlessness and wickedness of
men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
since what may be known about God is plain to
them, because God has made it plain to them.
For since the creation of the world God's
invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine
nature, have been clearly seen, being understood
from what has been made, so that men are
without excuse. For although they knew God,
they neither glorified Him as God nor gave
thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile
and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although
they claimed to be wise they became fools 2..

You think this is a mature way to reply an atheist
They want logic if you won't give that to them then chill!!

Let us pray...

Our brains,
Which art in our head,
Treasured be thy name.
Thy reasoning come.
Thy best you can do be done on earth as it is.
Give us this day new insight to help us resolve conflicts and ease pain.
And lead us not into supernatural explanations;
Deliver us from denial of logic.
For thine is the kingdom of reason,
And even though thy powers are limited,
And you're not always glorious,
You are the best evolutionary adaption we have for helping this earth,
Now and forever and ever,
So be it!

In the name of Sabrina, I say amen.

Hi IamSabrina.

I already tendered an apology to you via a thread I created specifically for this purpose, but i'm here to personally tender it to you.

To be honest with you, I just have a feeling that you are the major reason why I went to that extent, for perhaps i wanted to get back at you, for the way you treated me, when I first tried to at least have some form of conversation with you.

But afterwards it became very clear that you didn't deserve such a treatment, and after I heard a comment you made, it made me to feel even worse.

I know that of course this could serve as an opportunity for many to exploit, but to me that's the most insignificant thing of all.

For i always say that i'm a true Jesus disciple, but if I can't apologize when I do wrong and when it's clear that I have done wrong, because of what people would say, then i'm only deceiving myself, because the last thing that should be on the minds of true Jesus disciples are people's opinions, but the opinion of their Master and their God.

So that's why i came here, and I hope you're okay. wink
Lol cheesy
Jnr, its alright. I don't upset as easily as you may think, i don't hold grudges on internet forums lol grin

Finally sabrina! Lol!

Where've you been all these while?

Missed you, not sarcasm though.

Sorry for bringing it to your territory, but just wanted to make sure that the message reached its target.

Could have said God be with you, but since you don't believe He exists, what do I leave you with?

Ok

Your very intelligent brain that God gave you, remain with you, so can I get an amen? wink

But on a more serious note, why do you think that men generally have this demeaning view of women?

I mean I have observed it from of course the church angle, and also even more recently from the atheists angle as well, so what is really responsible for it, and is it warranted or fair?

I don't even want to go into the instance of that guy that said that women are all oestrogens and no senses, I mean even minus the Jesus factor from the talk, does that guy even have a mother or a sister?

It's really crazy especially when that is not even an aberration.

Good question @bolded

Personally, i don't think all men, especially on Nairaland, have a demeaning view of women. Obviously, there are the occassional m0r0ns and douchebags that pop up from time to time on this website, but I think people these days love to mix up shock humor with actual beliefs.

I'm a man myself, so definitely not all men, but i have been among men and it's really alarming the extent they more or less take this to.

I have also met some men who are the otherwise though, but they are so few I must say.

So i'm not surprised to see it replaying itself in the forum, because it's the reality.

Since when does union refer to religious beliefs?
Union is simply another meaning for a group people.

Sorry to bust your bubbles but atheism IS THE lack of belief in any god.

This phrase, "lack of belief in any god", is the only phrase that applies to all atheists.

Other phrases, such as: "rejects the existence of God or the gods", "claim that there is no afterlife", and "claim that the material universe is all that is real" simply do not describe all atheists.

Hence atheism is not a belief, it is a lack of a belief.

Is atheism not a belief that God does not exist?

It must not be in the respect of God for it to be a belief, that's my point sabrina.

For instance you believe in your brain up to the extent that you pray to it Lol! wink

You actually believe in something sis, even though it may be a lack of belief in God, for a belief is a belief! smiley

Your argument doesn't compute. Perhaps an illustration will suffice...

IAmSabrina: "Are you allergic to peanuts?"
jjresurrected: "No, I'm not allergic to anything."
IAmSabrina: "Are you allergic to shellfish?"
jjresurrected: "No, I'm not allergic to anything."

Clearly, not having any allergies is a kind of allergy, huh jj?

Atheism has no tenets, no dogma, no rituals, no teachings, nothing to be taken on faith. It's a single position on a single claim.
