On Imo state.

1) no political party in Nigeria contests election without fraudulent practices. In the case of the last Imo state governorship election, all fingers were soaked with oil. The Supreme Court judges can't delve into which of the fingers had more oil than others.

2) there was no miscarriage of justice on policy and public opinion.

APC is guilty in the case of bayelsa but the judgement was poor the Supreme Court should have nullified the election won by APC and instruct inec to conduct a fresh election within 90days.

In IMO state it was a post election issue and the court only computed the votes that was alleged to be cancelled and the ones not added which gave the present governor a lawful margin to win and by the electoral act the court can declare him winner.

The supreme court never mentioned anything forgery ...They man never forged any document ...,they all belong to him....nobody has come out to claim they are owner of those document. No institution has said they are forged. The supreme court used words like inconsistency ....which is different from forgery....Why suoreme court used the word inconsistency is that some of his document had other names or tittle....but since no one is claiming those document, the man is right ...he didn't break the law. After all same supreme court told us that Mahamadu and Mohammed buhari is same person cos Mohamadu is same as Mohammed in islam. This technically is further damaging the reputation of the judiciary. ...,you can't sacrifice justice at the alter of technicality. The people of balyesa voted for apc but supreme court decided to Give it to pdp there by denying the people's choice. This kind of judgement will further ignite hatred cos there is no justice

Educate yourself.

The gubernatorial ticket is a joint one.
The case was a pre-election matter in which the court disqualified Lyon (because of his deputy's forgery) even before the election date. So this is just the Supreme Court upholding the high Court verdict.
Forging of documents is a criminal offense and you get disqualified.
