If they were, there won’t be so much poverty and low life expectancy. When the US was at the stage Nigeria is now, people thought there was no need for panic because only few people had it. It wasn’t until more testing centers became available that the cases skyrocketed overnight! Which means it was lack of test centers that gave the false sense of how far spread it was. Most people don’t experience severe symptoms that’s probably why the hospitals aren’t filled with sick people at this time in Nigeria. It doesn’t mean they don’t have it and can’t spread it to vulnerable people though. Also people take malaria medicine in Nigeria when they feel sick so we absolutely don’t know who’s infected until we get test centers available.

You should not be celebrating your president getting briefing from experts, other presidents are out there informing the people and giving hope, they don’t show you when they’re receiving briefings. I did not abuse God's providence in my comment. I just wanted to point a divine intervention because things could have been worse.

I agree with you that testing facilities are needed but since the virus was largely IMPORTED on, the citizens have the greater responsibilities to control its spread through contact. That some people still doubt the seriousness of the virus in rural areas is worrisome. Luckily, we are not a race that kiss, perk or hug as greeting.

You can't force the president to give briefings if he doesn't want to. Even the constitution doesn't have the power to compel him to do so. What is required is for him to take appropriate actions to solve problems and I think he is doing that.

What briefing is he receiving, A President that is receiving treatment for Covid -19, I beg let's discuss other things.
