My prediction. With the fall of atiku, The North will now rally around buhari in the general election, but that will only amount to his CPC clinching some gubernatorial seats in the north and him coming second to jonathan in the race. |

Canisma: Hmm. Don't be so sure. Whatever happens, presidential candidates have to debate against each other live. Sending people to vote without this would be doing a great diservice to the populace. Let us see what each candidate stands for and what their plans (concrete and tangible ones) are to solving the nations problems, as well as having such plans publicly scrutinised and tested. The irony of this whole debacle is that out of all the aspirants, Atiku seemed to have the most comprehensive and most researched plan, I mean, he had an actual plan put on his site (even if I doubt he had much to do with its writing). I wouldn't have voted for Atiku, but wouldn't have minded voting for that plan he had on his campaign site. |

I relish the thought of watching Goodluck, Buhari and Ribadu debating against each other before the general elections. We really need to start campaigning for this to happen. This election is too important for each candidate not to be thoroughly scrutinised. |
