It's one of the places where the wealth of the world is gathered, invested in, and the re-distributed elsewhere. This is not true. the wealth of the world and europe is gathered in Sitzerland and Frankfurt, germany respectively.

Haba, how una go dey talk like this? Britiains 'riches' did not start today na. The British people started plundering the world many years ago, by their exploration and travelling the whole world. That is why they were able to colonise many parts of the world and stamp their 'ownership' on those parts, even till today.
Secondly, Britain does have lots and lots of multinationals, some of which have been sold in the last few years. Companies like Shell, BP, BAT, BT, AstraZeneca are scattered around the world, still 'plundering' poor third world countries of their resources. Other companies like the Jagua, Rover, MG, Triumph etc were all renowned british companies which in recent times, have been sold to indians and the chinese. Still some other companies such as BAe are a weapons manufacturing company, selling arms to countries all over the world.

When I say nothing, I mean nothing. Population (people) and natural resources (They import water) are all lacking in that country, but they are very very developed. So developed that even the British and Americans abandon their countries to become their citizens. Each time I visit that country, I weep for my resource rich country.
