GEJ just voted at exactly 12.38pm
Re: Rigging Has Begun by nwaafo1: 1:31pm On Apr 16, 2011
gymer:

I just voted in a very orderly and peaceful manner without the use of KOBOKO to keep people on the qeue. That is the beauty of democracy. This is GEJ's way of discipline by example not by brutal force and KOBOKO. Please let us join Goodluck to take some FRESH AIR! GEJ all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you just wasted your one precious vote, you may not realise now. wish i were in Nigeria to vote, those who get nyas.h no sabi sit

SaharaTV: Alhaji Aminu Ahmed (chairman of Babura LGA), Alhaji Lawan Abdu (PDP leader in Babura and adviser to Gov Lamido), Alhaji Sani Haru (deputy COS to Gov Lamido and PDP candidate for state House of Assembly from Babura LGA), (currently at Kunyafa PU, Jigawa ward, Babura LGA), and the ADC to Gov Lamido, DSP Yusuf (currently at Mailefe PU, Jigawa ward, Babura LGA) are all moving about freely from wards to polling units with police and army patrol escorts (in violation of the electoral act and all relevant laws), harrassing voters and sharing money on site. We, on the other hand have completely been immobilised by the police and army patrols, and we have called on observers to cross check the claims and they have all confirmed the stories. Note that we have consistently informed INEC since last night that these guys are strongly suspected to be in possession of thumb printed ballot papers

Enemy's gathering rumours. Fools accept them without confirmation. Ignorant spread them. We are tired of hearing rumours. Please give up, don't tell no lies.

Just voted my conscience. Voting was peaceful in my polling centre but for one ACN agent who was giving some people money and drinks to vote for ACN. According to him, he will be in trouble if he doesn't deliver. Thank God people are wiser now, some collected their money and still voted their minds.

SaharaTV:The ADC to Gov Lamido, SPO Yusuf just assaulted domestic observers sent to verify claims that he is distributing money and voting is done in front of him, and that voting started before 11am. When the observer querried the presiding officer, the ADC assaulted him, tore his tag and called on locals to beat them up, they barely managed to run for their lives, and are now taking refuge in my house. The observer's accreditation no is INEC/HQ/EM&OU/UN/025/93.

Is there a future for us as a nation? I am really depressed at this news, after 24 hrs GEJ might be declared htr winner of a rigged election and the same old story again. Observers look the other way and say election is ok, we go to court and kutigi bribes other judges and GEJ wins case in 2013 , 2 years to another election and we start the same song again.

The bastard govs in the north are even the ones rigging for GEj

It's Nigeria's PDP-led poor Academic standard that put you in this bad spelling condition. you are still voting them back
Re: Rigging Has Begun by hobat4cash(m): 2:29pm On Apr 16, 2011
Well well, the elections where i am i.e uyo is very peaceful, free and fair but not without some hitches. The voter's register used was a duplicate and not original as used in other units. This lead to some disagreements between the voters and inec officialsg. But by far my biggest problem is that people here are voting along religious line. This is sad really. cry

Even if you bring all the noble laureates to come and organize election as long as Nigerians will be the REC's, polling rep, LGA coordinator, drivers of trucks that move ballot papers, DPOs.

The same old story of rigging will even treble. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria let us forget the leaders now
