Ileke-IdI: Not entirely true. PDP got most of the 25% requirement from the North. In Some Northern states, the PDP was almost neck and neck with CPC. |

it is the little things like free and fair election and fuel supply that people used to jugde the ability of GEJ to perform. He has only been president for 10months. Can anyone comfortably say he has not done any worthy of praise? he is on the right track, shun sentiment and support him, afterall he made it possible for your vote to count. By appointing jega, funding inec properly, and staying out of inec Affairs |

Congratulations to those Nigerians who think that a party that has failed for 12yrs can now turn our fortunes around in 4yrs because of a chap named Goodluck. Amazing how people can be so gullible and petty. I hope your parts of Nigeria have security, power, good roads and a future for your children unborn cos mine lacks these presently. GEJ ke? I laugh! |

Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by manosteel(m): 6:28pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
The good thing about this election is that the peoples's vote counted. The reason why our leaders were not accountable to us in time past was that we never sent them, rather they sent themselves and imposed themselves on us through rigging and therefore had no reason be accountable to anybody. This time, the people have spoken and who ever that wins will know that he is just an employee who is accountable to the people, his employer. If he is still in doubt about the people and power, he should ask president H.Mubarak of Egypt. |

Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by Nutridor: 6:35pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
Congrats to GEJ. All the international observers have said this is the freeest and fairest election in the last decade. So let all the BB followers accept defeat and move on. It seems Nigerians seem prefer the "corrupt PDP" to northerners telling everyone that it is their turn. Imagine all the other three main parties were northerners. Imagine them telling Bakare to step down. That was when BB lost my vote and surely those of others. Lets Nigeria move away from ethnic sentiments and vote for individuals. I personally believe Nigerian voted for Jonathan and not PDP. |

Quote from: Jakumo on Today at 06:05:32 PM This is fantastic news. The sons and daughters of the Niger Delta can now stand tall and rest assured that they have FINALLY been recognized as TRUE citizens of the country Nigeria that has for so long thrived on the wealth beneath their feet, while paying back so little. Chief Jakumo, We've come a long way brother. . . . you know how all these started. Hmnn. Thanks for standing for truth, equity and justice. May your days be long! |
