Its quite unfortunate dat U still base Ur thinking 4 d way 4ward 4 Nigeria on Religious sentiments the So- called Northerners dominated by the Muslims lead this Nation for the better part of post independence years with nothing 2 show 4 it except 4 selfish governance. I and most Nigerians pray dat this is a new dawn in running the affairs of Nation not minding where the person comes from. If U're not Ok go hang Urself or go Bak 2 Niger Republic were U come from. Thank God for Prof. A Jega & Sanusi Lamido who are out to redeem the dirty image of the far North. May God continue raise such angels or better still saints among us Amen |

Hi all, pls check out this unofficial stats:http: //www.eienigeria.org/publications/29-resources/154-presidential-poll-results (but 90% accurate) can u believe more than 70% voter turnout in only places where PDP won and less than 50% in places where CPC won. Even Lagos had less than 40% turnout. I think its free and fair where they cant rig and vice versa. PLs help me out cos i believe we have open minded ppl on this forum(sentiments aside). |

Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by Jenifa1: 10:39pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
ib55: more than 70% voter turn out is very high. why do you assume that the elections were free and fair? maybe freer and fairer than what we are used to. yes. but most likely not perfectly free and fair in the ideal sense of the term. |

I supported BB for the election, but what I saw on saturday in rivers state shocked me. GEJ has a following that is almost cultlike. I hope he serves us well, as it stands he is still my president and I will as a patrotic Nigerian support him in my own little way. Congrats Goodluck. |

Please all these guys crying foul about the election. The election was free and fair! Has anybody ever consider the fact that the Northerners have been rigging election in Nigeria with their so called "high" population. To me whether rigging on election day (like in the past) or manipulate population figure to give you added advantage are same. But this election has proved to the world that the figure they have brandishing since were fake. This new government should see to it that a valid census is conducted in Nigeria. Goodluck to Nigerians!!:d :d :d :d |

Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by Limaoscar: 10:58pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
Those who supported BB against GEJ should try to be civil and accept defeat honorably. How can you say that anyone who voted GEJ shouldn't complain if after or during the course of 4 years the president-elect doesn't perform? You know what bruv, being smart is in your DNA make-up you didn't need to go to school. This is very sound, repeat very sound. All those local anti-democratic fans of "crying baby" out there should really zip it or concede defeat honorably. I wonder why some of the folks on NL are trying hard to show what bad losers they are. |
Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by SharafG: 10:58pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
mobinga, stop fulling yourself and stop fueling crises, for you will surely be consumed if happened. I'm SURE YOU'RE NOT A MUSLIM but always want to give bad impression of Muslims. You dont even know the spelling and pronunciation of ALLAHU AKBAR. My advice to you is to comit suicide instead of killing inocent lives for somebody winning an election. I AM A MUSLIM, I LOVE BUHARI and I believe in power being from Allah given to whom He so wished. This I know is also the Buhari's principle. You are more infidel, obnoxious, stupid, coward, irresponsible and good for nothing human being. We refuse to be intimidated and incited by impostors and imbeciles like you. |
Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by Redstone(m): 10:59pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
@Mobinga It takes only an insane man to call for violence against the other religious denomiation in the country. I think you should think well in the right direction to make positive impact to humanity and to Nigerians, and not call for violence, because any one who calls for violence does not have the interest of Nigerian at heart. I must remind you that the Almighty GOD that we all serve, is not a GOD of violence, and take note, he who kills by the sword certainly will die by the sword. We have several examples of what violence no matter in what form; can cause in a nation, please take cuation when you make statements on public forum like Nairaland. If you feel agreived about the outcome of the election, it does not call for violence, lets all be partrotic Nigerians, we cannot move Nigeria forward with violence or such auterances as you have made on this widely respected forum, please desist from such statements. GOD Bless us all, and GOD Bless Nigeria. |

Earthwide: @ Earthwide, You have captured and summarized what this election means: Anyone from the six regions mentioned can aspire to the highest office in the land without worrying about the now banished hegemony of the NE and NW. The MB (North central) have realised that they too can be power- players / brokers via the ballot boxes. Anyone complaining about the outcome of the Presidential election should file their compliants with INEC and other appropriate bodies. Stop posting ignorant rantings. |
