Don't mind that backbencher. He's a clueless idealist who knows nothing about what he's talking about.
His own no pass increase price of fuel, increase price of electricity, increase tax and more tax. Nigerians not paying enough...they need to pay more until they bleed to death.
Funny thing they guy is in uk. I wonder what he will say now that inflation is dealing with developed nations and their leaders are finding ways to cushion the effect.

Exactly. He is an armchair wannabe economist who can't actually practice what he preaches. I am glad elumelu is speaking out. Let me if backbencher2 knows more than tony elumelu. This tweets from elumelu will drive backbencher2 into his cave for good

What role did the organised private sector especially the banking- financial sector which he belongs to have played in the fiasco the country is going through?

What roles are they playing to redeem the situation? He should tell us what he wants to do and not what we should do.

Where the OPS voted into political office or do they have any constitutional mandate to "redeem the situation"? Are they constitutionally responsible for the economy? What exactly do you want him to tell u that he wants to do? So elumelu should tell u that he will reduce taxes, provide fuel and electricity as a member of OPS?
