Actually not Tambuwal but Obaseki!
A good number of northern delegates actually voted for him but some of his southern counterparts went behind and voted against him!
Not that i would have wanted Wike to win though but since it was an agreement, hence the southern governors should have just settled for a consensus southern candidate and vote accordingly!

Like it or not, wike is the kind of leader Nigeria needs right now. Someone that is blunt enough to call anyone's bluff, without minding whose ox is gored.

He has proven himself to be very trustworthy and reliable. For me, such a man is an asset to the party. If they're wise, they should respect and hold him tight.

It's such a shame that the eastern governors ain't ready for the change their people are longing for. Yes, they will regret it and they will suffer, for real.
