What’s your take?

Open relationship is bliss! Complete freedom from nagging partners who spend all day preaching the "love" gospel, it's sickening to hear this rubbish all day and all night. Open relationship also helps to relieve the boredom of staying with one partner, why should I spend my whole life with just one lady when there are over 3 billion on the planet?!
How can a man/woman eat only egusi soup all his life when ogbono, okro, e.t.c. are widely available for consumption? It's not rocket science, is it?!

I'm open to the idea of open relationships. Personally, I think its for mature individuals. We all know that not everyone can handle the idea of such a relationship.

Re: Open Relationships by Nobody: 4:58pm On Jul 31, 2011
I tried it 2yrs ago and trust me it was fun. But, for the guys, u have to be endowed (pocket, handsome etc)to be into open relationship if not your partner would be leading the you on the fun race lol. . At a point my babe got a lil bit jealous and we had to cancel the open relationship deal. . But I really had fun uncountable 3somes *winks*

A year after my break up with my ex, I met someone, quite younger than me and I decided we had an 'open relationship' cuz common sense told me a proper relationship would not lead anywhere.

Now, 3 months on, its obvious he's seeing other people (even though he is thoroughly denying this) and its killing me. I have decided to let go of the 'relationship' and move on. But one thing I can say for sure is i DID not realise how much I had fallen for him till I let go. Its been just days after I made this decision and i feel soooo empty, 10x worse than I did after I broke up with my ex after a 5 yr relationship.

I have now accepted Im one of the most jealous ppl around. I wanted him all for myself even though my mouth was saying different, and even though I knew it would lead no where.

So, in essence, from a slightly experienced point of view; the OP is 100% right, if u are the emotional, jealous or insecure type, an open relationship is a definite no-no.

I think it's cool: Xperienced one b4.  Enjoyed it while it lasted. Thou it's for matured folks

-u may both agree that calling each other every minute is not necessary
-financial obligations are minimal
-its ok if u both decide that you may be seeing other people,
-(100%) emotional commitment is not necessary

Just like a banging mate!  cheesy the best i ever had

Hey *SteLette*, seems like the open loop thingy doesn't work for u either. . .can we start a relationship with a closed-loop path now?
Re: Open Relationships by Nobody: 10:41am On Aug 01, 2011
