Op, it is greediness that wants to kill you not gambling. You must always have this on my mind that in betting, you can win or loss regardless of what kind of game you play. I have used betting to sort somethings that my salary can't even sort once. Infact, in a month , I used to account for how much I lost to how much I won. I don't play it everyday. See, I have never stake beyond a 2k for a game. That is the maximum I have used on a game. I don't stake many games as well. Infact , there were period I won for almost a week. There are periods I don't play game at all eventhough I have money on me. I have used #300 to win close to 50k in just two days before. Deal with your greediness and addiction. Last week I forecasted like 28 games, I used #50 to play the game because the odd is much then I played flexi bet with the 28 games that if 3 lost out of the whole 28games, they will still pay me. I put #680 on that flexi one. The #50 lost but the #680 came with 5k. At times, you need wisdom while playing bet. Sit yourself down and strategies. Talk to yourself that you won't play bet beyond this amount of money. For me, I don't go beyond 2k and if I don't want to play game, I will not play it. I have won games as well as loss. But I am satisfied with it. Another thing is this, one you win a game, don't rush to bet the follow day. Withdraw more than 70% to run your finances. Used the 30% to go again. If you lost with the 30% don't try to play for a while. Infact, if I play game with 2k, I am very sure the game will come and I don't usually play any game people send or maybe on Twitter.

I never realised what i was getting myself into until i started googling and then discovered what i had gotten myself into. This has rendered me hopeless, almost useless, and broke.

Since 2020 until now, i have only laboured in vain. i became unable to take proper care and provide for my family not because i don't get paid from work (i do have a work which i do) though the pay does not come every time. Greed, wanting more i would say has lead me to these part that is about to break and destroy me completely.

I have a very loving and hardworking wife, who has saved me countless number of times. i have broken her hearts by these singular addiction. i have tried several ways to stop. but once money gets into my hand the first thing that comes to my mind is to feed my addiction.

Most times i cry alone in the house and wished i could turn back the hand of time. I have felt depressed, lost weights, and my confidence, and the suicidal thoughts as deep down i know i should be better, i should do better for my wife and child.

i lost everything to these monster, my car, my peace, my respects, even some friends.

since 2020 now, i have no savings, infact i empty my account in less than 24 hours because of my greed.

on several occasions i have used the money meant for purchasing another car since after i sold the other one. i spent the money to feed these my monster.

even when i WIN i lose it all back. just 3 months ago. i had lost almost #2m. these happen within 2 days.

I am slowly dyeing inside. when i look at my child and my wife and what my actions have put them through. and for the fact that i keep going back. i then feel there might be something else wrong with me.


I have followed some forums for help but i keep going back. please and please if you know how or what to say to me that will help my situation please do.

Mehn I can feel your pain but you can stop gambling. I was a chronic bettor from 2013 - 2018 but I stopped. You can do it you just need discipline.

I realised I can make turns of money in teaching Crypto trading than actually investing in it because of trading pattern. Since I know how to analyse chart, I will still analyse while dumping using another indicator forgetting that there are whales behind the curtain controlling the market. In a nutshell, I am a patient trader.
I dumped crypto when I joined future trading which never requires patient. It almost ruin me.
You can never recover your lost take it or leave it.

We can generally not deny it that the time we spend on our phone is far more than we spend without it. So delete those apps and web bookmarks and replace them with different and rewarding engagements.

May the Lord save you but what i have come to realize it that as long as you have a means to exercise an addiction, you will not overcome it. In your case it is access to money. All you need to do is to ensure all your income goes to.your wife's account especially given she understands the battle you are up against.

Also, stop yourself from holding cash not for any reason whatsoever, let your wife do all your expenses for you. You only need to do this long enough till your brain recalibrates.

I hope you agree with me that without access to money you would have no addiction to gambling.
