I was eating oh. I’m still eating. But, it’s not quite the same is it? Over here I’m stuck with variants of potato meals and the odd pizza now and again. That’s not life abeg. I want my wife’s cooking to bring out my true skin colour. Where is the crime in that?

See me see wahala oh. All of this vex ontop wetin na? You stated your preferences and I stated mine. Why should yours be more acceptable here? Shame on me? Ok, thank you. Perhaps before you liberally dish out your anger you should also consider that there are very many black sisters who actually enjoy cooking for their men. Should they be ashamed of themselves too?

@Jachoz,

I’m with you 100%, my brother.

Its no big deal if a woman can't cook especially in this part of the world,but tell her that she should be prepared to share her husband with another woman very,very soon.The way to a man's heart is through his taste bud wink
Re: Does It Matter If She Can't Cook? by teena(f): 4:26pm On Jul 31, 2006
Waoh! who says it doesnt matter if a woman can cook or not? shocked

Well. in my own opinion, it matters a lot. Frankly speaking, if a woman is good in bed but bad in the kitchen, something is missing. Our people say dat "a woman who knows how 2 cook has the key to her d man's heart" I beliv in that.

Frendship apart, in marriage, its very important 4 a woman to be good in kitchen because its not all the time the man might feel like going 2 eatry or taking junks. That does does mean the man cant assist her where necessary anyway. Also, it makes a man proud when he has guests in the hse and the woman gives them a wonderful treat from her kitchen. kiss kiss

Above all, what a luvly mum that will, from time to time prepare special delicacies 4 the kids to take to school?

Re: Does It Matter If She Can't Cook? by viena(f): 5:58pm On Jul 31, 2006
jazzy

my life is saved, if my man aint got probs why should it bother, if ur man keeps u only for cooking then its a shame, my man knows that is the only thing i dont like doing and i cant do well, hey i feed him very well with every other thing. he is never hungry for anything not evn for food.

he just loves me and as long as i am by his side he is content.

that man u killing urself for to cook, was he not eating b4 he met u.

well if the money is gone, then it should be gone for food stuffs as well. but as for me, that aint happening. before kids will come all preparations will be in place.

find a man that loves u and understand ur person then all these frivolous things wont matter

Re: Does It Matter If She Can't Cook? by desiree(f): 7:42pm On Jul 31, 2006
I still maintain, a woman has to know how to cook well. It has nothing to do with keeping a man because man will always stray anyways; it's more about the kids, I don’t want my kids to go wild on junk food and crap. I know my brother is married and he would do anything for a taste of my mums cooking any day.
