I agree it's important to be able to cook but it should not be a role description for women. What's wrong in a man being better than his wife in the kitchen? |
Re: Does It Matter If She Can't Cook? by babonboard(f): 3:32pm On Aug 03, 2006 |
Its quite important a woman know how to cook cos they say the way to the man's heart is his stomach but that doesnt now make solely her duty her husband too should be able to help if she's tired, down and above all heavily pregnant with their kid |

Re: Does It Matter If She Can't Cook? by viena(f): 6:43pm On Aug 03, 2006 |
@drogba, why should it be compulsory for all ladies to know how to cook and not men too? yes there is no excuse for the lady so also for the man. |

Viena well said, people should not get me wrong i do know how to cook ma mama raise me well but no man should rely on me to cook they better learn to cook also if all the men in my family can cook whats stopping them |
Re: Does It Matter If She Can't Cook? by Nutter(m): 12:16am On Aug 04, 2006 |
drogba: viena: Fact is, it will be much harder for an African girl who doesn’t know how to cook to get married than it would for a man in the same situation. This is a pointless argument. Girls that don’t think it’s important to learn how to cook are entitled to their opinions. However, before they attempt to convince us, they should start by finding out the position of the women in their own families. |

Talking about cooking, let me go and cook some shrimp fried rice for my big sis coming back from Nigeria tomorrow. If you are hungry you are invited, i always cook enough for walk-ins. |

babe1: I don't believe you joo . I have now developed a craving. I'll have to rifle through my well-arranged collection of take-out restaurant menus looking for the closest Chinese restaurant so I can order shrimp fried rice. I'm not finding this funny at all. |
