We don't need strikes at this material time.

There's need for compromise and understanding.

If Igbos succesfully hike prices of there goods, does it affect yorubas and hausas only, igbo no dey buy from igbo or is there subsidy on okikra, electronics and spare parts for igbos

Are igbos the only traders in Nig, what stops yorubas and hausas from hiking the prices of their goods & services as well ... una no dey think at all undecided

There is no need for mumu talk we all will suffer it, so let nobody cum here to brag nonsense
My friend, majority of Igbos are business people. The class of people that suffer most in an inflation economy are monthly salary people. Their salaries are hardly reviewed. If you how Buhari inflation got most Igbos richer you will understand why they say a goat lying down is lying on its skin. Buhari at a stage had to be paying his people free money to sustain.

Before you do anything thinking you are doing others, think. For as long as Igbos are doing business, forget all these una stupidity. Forget it. You are doing yourself.

The subsidy as a percentage of the total revenue at that point was not significant but now it is.

We cannot be borrowing to subsidise.

Will you take out a loan in other to give a gift to another no sane individual will do such.

MasterJayJay:

You just proved that Tinubu and APC are terrorists. Tinubu, Buhari and APC were against subsidy removal in 2012.

And majority of hausas and yorubas are beggars the igbos feed and cloth abi ..

In an hyper inflation economic people who suffer the most are traders cos of eminent low sales, scale of preference and opportunity cost will be the order of the day.
Consumers will not only cut down on there consumption, they will prioritized only essential goods, so it going to affect most traders not into essential commodity whether igbo, yoruba or hausa ...let me widen your horizon bro.

With the current economic situation, traders turnover is most likely to drop than increase while monthly pay is prone to remain constant or increase. business life span is not as durable as human, onces business is not making regular turnover naa close down, but salary earners will survive even economic melt underground sef. na lean dem go lean

The whole north is ready for the strike. We are going to ground every government activities starting from Wednesday.
When they were protesting against Buhari, these evil people from the south west were leading the protest. Now they want we the northerners to support them. Only a foolish northerner will support these evil people.
During the end SARS protest, these Yoruba were leading the protest now they want to play us sense.

Buhari budget money for subsidy in the month of June does not mean he has paid for subsidy.

Buhari has being borrowing to pay for Subsidy, Asiwaju won't continue with the nonsense. Anybody that goes on strike won't receive salary and will be sanction.

Subsidy is gone for good

You are missing a point. I have a practical knowledge of that point and not just arguing out of theory like you do. Many traders have old stocks they have got to sell out. They purchased at a very low price but will double their profits. I have brothers who became richer as a result under Buhari. Go do your research and you will understand how many Igbo business men became richer. Yes, it wasn't only Igbos. Other tribes too. Farmers added. But statistics gave the Igbos an edge. Do your research bro, stop giving theories.

You mentioned people cutting down their costs. Lol. This is very minimal. Has minimal impact. If not, why do civil servants keep complaining? Everyone suffer in harsh economy but I am discussing statistics. Go do your research and you will understand. If you are not a trader under harsh economy. If you a salary earner, get ready to suffer more.

Bro your last post just gave you out completely, you know nothing about business, you think you but tou don't.
Now what some of you don't understand in business is having old stock is not tantamount to double profit, new price will always dictate the market, you must re adjust to meet cost
if i bring in a toyota muscle at 2.8m at landing cost around jan and i intend to sell at 3.1m but xchange rate went up then same toyota at landing cost is now 3.2m in june ... it is not goodnews to the selller becos he will have to sell that old stock at market new price so that he can restock. profit margin is constant if you inflate your profit you will scare customers away.
i challenge you to bring all those beer parlour statis you are talking of, a lot of business men are into shady deals no let anyone lie give you, that UCHE guyz Efcc caught recently if dem no catch am, he will tell you bro business is good .. one shokolo shop in oshodi and oga has houses in lekki .. business is good nonii

Civil servants are the major ATMS in any society if they are broke businesses are broke, govt are the highest employer of work forces, if these work force don't have money even traders will suffer, we are all in it stop decieving yourselves i have igbos in my area none drives a car bigger than lexus 330 09 sef so scrap that igbos are world richest nonsense. no tribe is immune to economic hardship

Confirmedzombie:
Since the announcement of strike by NLC, both Atiku and Peter have not altered any word.

Its obvious Peter obi and Atiku are the mastermind of this purported strike action by NLC.

Both Peter obi and Atiku are people who talked heaven and earth to change Nigeria but can't rise up on their voices to back the subsidy removal all cos they lost the election.

Honestly Nigeria dodged a bullet not voting both Peter obi and Atiku.

why didnt buhari and tinubu back jonathan in 2012.....ode.

I don't understand this news

What is NLC north and NLC south west

The last time I checked, NLC got one national body

Is APC trying to create a phantom NLC faction masquerading as NLC North and NLC South west

Is Tinubu and his minions now creating the impression that every other part of the country is against the subsidy removal except the so called North and South west

Are we now in a government of North and South west collabo against the rest of the country

It will surely backfire

When we say that Tinubu ran the most tribal, religious and ethnic divisive campaign ever witnessed in this country, we have the facts and this is one of it
