You don’t know how life work, how will someone be earning 30k and fuel is 500 plus, I trust British and South Africans etc, they for wan strike.

Doesn’t make any sense at all, YOU ARE GOVERNMENT, you are the masses, they can’t be collecting hardship allowance as public office holders and you the masses are suffering.

Common, remove politics for once, remove religion for once, remove ethnicity for once,

Small inflation for uk, they increase minimum wage last year, they increase this year again, the rise of living have to reflect on the masses earnings
I believe NLC should be asking Government what the Govt will do for Nigerians not to be too affected by this fuel subsidy removal

NLC should be asking Government what the Money will spend money on and how the money will be spent

Strike will only lead to more hardship

What did the 2012 strike achieve?

There will be chaos and scarcity of fuel if Govt does not stand her ground

But Government must make Nigerians know the plans dey have for Nigeria. This is where I expect the NLC to give the Government a very close marking.

Mr Ajaero supported subsidy removal during obi campaign why is he now going against it..

Or is it cos tinubu is not an ibo man? See, I have many ibo friends and they are very good to me and l like them too.

You think too local. What has subsidy got to do with only the Igbos? The Igbo man who sales has no business with your strike and he has never for once, rather he sees your strike as affecting his business. If you increase fuel price the igbo business man, Yoruba businness man , hausa Fulani business men and other tribes business men will factor the increase in their businesses, period.
Civil servants are the ones complaining and tghose more in civil service are the Yorubas. Tinubu should provide enough palliatives for workers that is all.
Stop fooling yourself.
Ajaero and his fellow labour leaders can live well but it will be a betrayal if they dont live up to the oat sworn to protect Nigerian workers.
Supporting Labor Party does not mean that if Labor Party had come up with such increase you expect NLC to keep quite? No they wont.

Tinubu is an expert in causing schisms within an organization.

Any organization that he can’t buy the head, he would look for an idiot within it that he can buy.

He did it with Afenifere.

He’s doing it with Ohaneze.

He did it with CAN.

He tried it with Labour Party.

Now it’s time for him to balkanize NLC.

This is an organization that has always presented a common front. Now he wants to destroy it with his ethnic nonsense which is his only strategy.

But I trust NLC to resist this nonsense. Those guys are too organized to be balkanized.
so what are you going to do about it or you are just all talk

Thinking from the other side.....all other items will be up for grabs and subsidies in areas we never heard would suffice......
Thinking with such sentiment......
We the citizenry are ready for anything....we need an open and competent leader.
APC has fallen short on both thus far

If Buhari was in opposition, you would be blaming him and be calling him out for any problem your drug lord have. But as it stands, Innocent Obi will be at the receiving end.

Keep deceiving yourself while the suffering bites harder. I remembered how most protest against hardship came from your end in the last dispensation. The South Easterners went about their business. Your comment showed you're a kid! So it's only Igbos that trades and has right to increase the price of goods! You should tell us again that Igbos would reduce the price for their fellow tribesmen.

Now them never leave you? They have left you behind. Continue with the senseless hateful politics that you live to play. Other regions are already aware of your hateful politics and nobody takes you ipob miscreants serious anymore. No politician will even bother about votes from your hateful region let alone waste money to campaign in your SE. You can keep scheming and wishing Nigeria all the evil in your bitter, hateful mind but note that it is you ipob that will still cry the most. Ya'll have now become comedians. Ensure to keep your useless protest to the SE. If you move mad, you'll be put where you belong.
And NO! there is phucking biafra.ud for you. You must remain in one Nigeria and learn to co exist peacefully and responsibly with others.

Stop capping with your flat head. There's nothing you increase that others cannot afford. After all the reason you all run away from your evil, hateful, cursed region is because nobody can afford what you sell. You always run to lagos, Ibadan, Ogun, kano, kaduna, Abuja to make a living because that's where the buying power is. On the other hand you don't see people from other regions going to your cursed land, rather they travel out the country. Capping trash like say na ghost go buy whatever products ya'll sell. Una never see anything. You guys will wail out of hatred till ya'll die on after the other and finally go into extinction.

You are missing a point. I have a practical knowledge of that point and not just arguing out of theory like you do. Many traders have old stocks they have got to sell out. They purchased at a very low price but will double their profits. I have brothers who became richer as a result under Buhari. Go do your research and you will understand how many Igbo business men became richer. Yes, it wasn't only Igbos. Other tribes too. Farmers added. But statistics gave the Igbos an edge. Do your research bro, stop giving theories.

You mentioned people cutting down their costs. Lol. This is very minimal. Has minimal impact. If not, why do civil servants keep complaining? Everyone suffer in harsh economy but I am discussing statistics. Go do your research and you will understand. If you are not a trader under harsh economy. If you a salary earner, get ready to suffer more.
since Igbos have edge Why are u guys so bitter then... Cursing everyone not in support of Obi... Besides don't we have Igbos who are salary earners... ?

After ENDSAR protest economy collapsed and prices of food soar all because they could not bring food from North and rural areas. What is the outcome of ENDSARS now but more hardship. NLC should ask for salary increament.

“The politically-tainted NLC, TUC, and NLC President, Joe Ajaero have asked workers to go on strike next Wednesday over the removal of petrol subsidy, despite being privy to the distressing financial figures, which justified why subsidy ought to have been scrapped a long time ago”.

So Bayo Onanuga finally agreed that subsidy should have gone long ago?

Why did Tinubu and Buhari lead the protest against GEJ’s move to end subsidy in 2014? They will never provide the answer to that.
obi and Atiku should lead theirs now.. tinubu buhari were opposition members then and played their cards well... NLC supported obi so many pple won't really trust them as speaking for Nigeria so since they're partisan ok... Go and protest but be peaceful... That's all

Your case is good bro, @ least you know one sure 100k is coming month end, it is left for you to draw case of preference

For a trader, with the present economic hardship, consumers will surely cut down on purchaases .. before as a boutique owner if you're making 100k a month it is no longer guaranteed, becos turnover will drop and flunctuate at low.
Need i remind you a trader will pay shop rent, pay transport to his/her shop, pay sales gurl/boy, pay his house rent and feed all that expenditure is on a dwindling turnover
Salary earner whether oga sell or no sell you go collect salary at month end, you have zeros worries about your office expenditure na the owner headache, If you guyz own a business you won't argue the way una dey argue
You are right, but also note that the person that pay you that salary is also a business man or woman.....so loss of jobs might become imminent....thereby adding more frustration, wahala everywhere
