Most of these government workers does nothing other than gossip in the office. They are only busy when it's time to pay salary.
They are nothing but liability to Nigeria.
FG should digitize operations of all government parastatals and reduce the workforce by half.
This your requests get as he be. If govt reduces workers by half, hope you have where they will work to earn their pay?, Since most of them just go to work to gist cheesy. What you should rather do is create systems that would increase their efficiency, like creating PIs that they would be measured against , ensuring they are incentivized, so that they would take these PIs seriously.

200k may be too much maybe 100k but for you to advocate laying off workers shows your mental state. Instead of you to focus on lawmakers earning 38million per month( enough to pay 380 persons 100k per month)for doing absolutely nothing, you are talking trash. It's better you advocate the Civil servants sit up rather than downsizing a country's workforce marred by high unemployment rate. Werey

I think they should be pushing for 100k per month minimum wage. 200k per month is too much. Do they want the government to spend 90% of federal earnings paying salaries?
but they are putting 96% down the toilet already in terms of paying largely unverifiable debt, paying it as salary will be a better use

Werey like you wey suppose advocate for fight against corruption, creating employment, subsidy removal, reduction in federal lawmakers salary to make it less attractive and make people going there ready for work . TUC should not demand for something that is unrealistic, they should find the percentage of increment in fuel prize due to removal of subsidy and the same percentage in increment should be applied to the minimum wage.

Clowns.

FG should use savings on subsidy to pay workers who are of very insignificant percentage of the whole population of 200million.

Rubbish.

Savings on subsidy must be used for the benefit of all Nigerians such as providing infrastructure like stable power, roads, railways and an efficient mass transit system that will also accommodate the transportation of farm products.

Both the FG and its workers are working for the over 200million people of Nigeria.

Yea a corresponding increase in minimum wage as well. If fuel price can be increased from 183 to 520. A similar increasement to balance the equation is a fair request

Exactly. Or return to old Price. Let them run to court again.

For those saying government cannot afford that amount are crazy, but government can afford the corruption of our politicians. If the minimum wage is increased as it should it would leave nothing for politicians to steal. As for the private businesses they too can increase the cost of goods and services they offer. Anyway drivers don increase their without telling anybody so telling civil servants that they cannot afford such amount money shows how callous the antagonist of the increment are to the plight of civil servant. And a quick reminder to those supporting the president actions, we didn't force him to be out president, he forced himself on us and we accepted him, also we didn't force him to increase the price of fuel on the day he was sworn in he chooses to do that so Nigerian civil servant have a moral obligations to demand what is rightfully theirs and if he knows he can't he gently submit the mantle of leadership to someone who can address the needs of Nigerians.

The incompetent so-called president and his bunch of nuisances are quick to tell you how fuel is cheapest in Nigeria but they always forget to add that our minimum wage is also the lowest. Now they've increased our fuel price to be at par with others, our minimum wage must also be at par with others too.

God bless TUC!

Fg might be able to afford such ministries under it but state governors exception of few states like 1-3 states.

Recurrent expenditure takes almost 80% of our budget and these fools are still trying to push us further down. This is realistically bad. Highest they can get as minimum wage is 50k.

How many of the states are even paying the 30k minimum wage?

Before they start giving any Federal Worker any pay rise they need to start putting them on target nd let them be productive apart from the Federal Govt teachers doz one deserve it....
Most of the earnings of government workers will go back to the informal sector. Everyone will benefit from the increase because everyone will increase their service cost and price of goods. If you come to my clinic for CS, I will slam you a bill of 1.5million...my kazeem mechanic will service my car at the rate of 10,000 instead of the usual 2,500... it goes round and round undecided
