I see you can not learn, I won't reply you henceforth!

JagabanB:

Take a good look at the constitution and u will realize over 60% of development in any state rests with SG and LG.
It's the duty of LG to build parks, cemeteries, name streets, build and maintain them, they are to provide street lighting, they are to provide portable water to the people within their jurisdiction, I can go on and on.
What did Obi do as governor?
ObIitrated LG, didn't do any of the above, yet the comfortable means is to bIame FG.
I keep telling Nigerians, we can continue with the politics or we can face reality and build our society.
Which ever one we choose, I am very very comfortable in both.
Has SE ever brought up any development plan to FG and they refused?
Who's the FG?
Is the FG the president only?
Are there no lgb0s in FG?
The SE don't have senators and HOR members?
Has SE ever brought up any project that was turned down?
The presidents the SE appreciates the most like OBJ, Yar'adua and GEJ are the ones who brought the Ieast development to that region and it's sister region SS.
Buhari refurbished airports, paid 13% derivation these same folks didn't pay, built second Niger bridge, putting the sea ports those same foIks crashed, same ALSCON they kiIIed he was trying to revamp it, rail lines like Warri-Itakpe rail that they abandoned, tell me again, have SE as a region ever submitted a development plan that FG turned down?
U know the answer but Nigeriàñs prefer poIitics over growth.
Since the president is not our choice, we wiII say every negative thing.
We can continue playing the politics or grow the society, this particular choice rests with the masses not the politicians, the masses are more political than the politicians thereby making politics easy for politicians.

inubu Has Exposed Nigeria To Ridicule By Visiting Foreign Country - Falana by Omooba77: 9:57am
Tinubu Has Exposed Nigeria To Ridicule By Visiting Foreign Country Where His Presence Is Not Recognised – Femi Falana

Popular Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist Femi Falana (SAN) has lambasted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for exposing Nigeria to ridicule by traveling to France, where his presence is not officially recognized, on a purported private visit.

During an exclusive interview with Rudolf Okonkwo on 90MinutesAfrica on Sunday, the human rights advocate made the charge.

“I hope this will be the last time that a president of Nigeria will expose the country to embarrassment and ridicule by going to a country where his presence is not recognized,”

Mr. Falana said about the Nigerian president’s recent two weeks private visit to France. He explained that as the country with the largest concentration of black people in the world, Nigeria ought to carry herself with some dignity.

Last Wednesday, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed that President Tinubu will travel to France on a private visit and “he will return to the country in the first week of February 2024.”

However, while commenting on the statement, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria said that the Nigerian constitution does not make provision for a private visit by the president.

“There is no provision in the constitution for a private visit by the Nigerian president. Therefore, he cannot go on a private visit and still be running the country,” the lawyer insisted. “So to the extent that the activities of the state are still being conducted by him, the question of a private visit does not arise.”

Tracing the trajectory of the decline in the diplomatic status of Nigeria, the learned silk narrated how the late Afrobeat musical legend, Fela Anikulakpo Kuti, used to be invited to the Presidential Palace in France by President Francois Mitterand for recognition during the musician’s private visits to the country and wondered how years later a Nigerian president would travel to the same country on a “private visit” and get no official recognition.

The foremost lawyer further berated the Lagos State governor’s trip to Grenada to attend a birthday party. Falana said that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s visit to the prime minister of the nation of 130,000 people was just an afterthought designed to cover the embarrassing implications of the trip.

“The governor of a state in a federation does not conduct foreign affairs,” Falana said. He knows he cannot tell Lagosians that he went on a private visit to attend a birthday party. That is why he had to quickly call on the PM to make it look official.”

During the interview, Barrister Falana also spoke on the state of Nigeria’s judiciary. He said that despite the mess in the judicial system, some judges still have chosen to “remain loyal to their oath of office.” However, he pointed out that the percentage of those judges is a tiny minority.

“It is almost an infinitesimal minority of judges. The system itself attracts corruption in all facets of our lives. If you pay poor wages, if you deliberately starve the judiciary of funds, if you deliberately refuse to allow judicial autonomy, then you are encouraging judicial corruption.”

Anyway, enjoy the corn in your back pocket!

Obi is ñót good representation, whoever wants obi does not want good representation, they simpIy want a trîbaI and reIigióus representation.
