No worries. With cars of this era, and with so many possibilities, I would advice a scan, to narrow down probable causes. Please post the results here when you've gotten them.

Definitely not iyana Itire. Talk to gazzuzz he knows those guys who specialises in VW Audi repairs.
If you are also lucky to get Diportivo in a serious mood. Try Nurey too. But Dipo knows a lot about VW

Hope not too late, will PRNDS all lit, it means your car has entered 'limp mode'.

Solutions
1. Drive for some time, it will clear itself, if what caused it has been fixed
2. Get a scanner, and clear the errors... It will return to normal mode.

Hi bro, how far with this your car, were you able to easily resolve the issue? My mechanic wants to sell one to me at a fairly cheap price. No issues with the car apart from the shaft i would repair.
Some people have said i should not buy it due to Passat having electrical issues and always needing to be scanned. I was searching the internet to see if i can get complaints from people and then came across your post. I would like to hear from you because i am already in love with that car. It was love at first sight.

Someone wants to sell Passat 09 model. The car has no issues at the moment. I want to find out if its an easy car i can use in respect of spare parts and mechanics apart from the issue of having to scan it for faults.
Is any one using that car here? Share your sorrows, frustrations or joy here plz.

if finance for maintenance isn’t a problem then go for it, definitely an enjoyable drive BUT please if you’re going to cut corners with mechanics and servicing then don’t even bother, this brand doesn’t like experiments at all. Someone recommended diportivo, I think you should pally up with him

If what you are looking for is to reset the DSG gearbox into "Learning Mode"?

This should reset the DSG to learn mode.

Turn the ignition on, without starting the engine.
Fully depress and hold the accelerator in that position for about 10 seconds (You may hear/feel a click)
Release the accelerator and turn off the ignition. (Job done)
Now take it for a drive, driving as is your normal driving style and the box will relearn your driving style.
Re: The Audi And Volkswagen Issues Resolution Thread by redleich(m): 8:51pm On May 05, 2019
I have used two VWs back to back; A 2006 Golf with DSG and presently a 2011 CC 2.0 T with DSG
I can confidently tell you that these vehicles don't pose any threats. However, you must treat them like a girlfriend as they constantly demand good maintenance.
Oil changes should be synthetic oil, not any regular oil.
Water pump, timing chain/belts, tensioners and oil separator should be replaced after 100,000km
If your vehicle has a turbocharger, you need to use an octane booster before every refuel to prevent carbon buildup and costly damages to your engine.
Don't use water in your overflow tank, as this would harm your radiator and engine. Rather look for the VW G13 pink coloured" coolant and use a 50/50 mix of water and coolant. This not only keeps your engine properly cooled but also prevents overheating during those very hot days and lengthy hours spent in traffic.
Lastly, ensure your mechanic is recommended by another VW user as there are so many fraudsters out there
Best of luck!

Just a few questions:

1. What error codes were displayed after the scan?
2. How recently have you changed the transmission fluid and filter?
Re: The Audi And Volkswagen Issues Resolution Thread by Lahnreymos(m): 11:23am On May 06, 2019
Thank you for ur immediate response
1. Malfunction transmission switch error.
The mechanic change the switch and clear the errror
2. It’s been long the fluid and filter was change.

It may just be time to change the transmission fluid and filter on your Audi since you mentioned the transmission position sensor has been replaced. Though I feel that should have sorted out the issue.
I am also concerned that the mechanic who worked on your vehicle did not check the condition of the transmission fluid and filter on your vehicle before even changing the sensor.

Can you take the car to Gbagada where the MOT testing centre is (Close to TREM) and ask for Isiaka? His number is 0806 021 8923.
He should be able to help with the scanning and repairs (if necessary).
