It all depends on the bank, like 1st bank can transfer direct with your naira currency. Others may require foreign exchange before they can transfer.
I would advise you write finance office of your school for bank details or you check your school website, if there is any section for method of payment.
Your transfer shouldnt be more than 3 days

Letnthe money be transferred to an account in your name.

@guddoti thanks I figured out what to do, which is to transfer 3m since that is the limit then transfer using another persons card. to complete the transaction. but I noticed no date is available for September Uk visa interview in the Tier 4 category, is this normal or there wont be interviews in September or have the days been filled up?

It takes an average of 4 weeks - 6 weeks and I doubt it can be fast-tracked nor monitored.

It's determined by your mode of payment. For instance, if you use a GTB Mastercard, the exchange rate is the Mastercard rate on the day of payment.

2nd week in October is perfect, you have well above 15 working days for visa processing. Ensure the latest start date is included in your CAS.

I have applied more than once. The most recent (august 2014) took 3weeks. You cant fast track. They wont even reply emails. Make sure you do not make any mistakes while filling the application.

Like seriously? And have you tried contacting them on the situation. This is getting me kinda scared because I went for the biometrics o the 13th. Hopefully they have stepped up their services. Although my resumption is 22nd, but I need to get some things done upon getting my documents back.
