Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend any flights leaving between Friday and Sunday at the latest. My school has given me my last day of grace as Friday. So I HAVE to be there on Monday. I've tried (from Abuja) Emirates, Arik, Qatar...nothing. The prices are basically my entire life's worth. Anything decently priced economy places please?

If you have not given him money, you can book yourself and besides Qatar airways is Overpriced at 250k, you should be able to get a direct flight for that price.

It seems like all applications at Teleperformance from 1st of September have issues with web tracking. Mine was stuck at 'attend interview' and the last week it went back to account created and has not moved since then. You might have to call UKVI to get update on your application o. The Teleperformance people are of no help on this thing.

No update o. I go there everyday now. Documents not back yet!!
Sheffield said final decision made on 11th. No email since and no documents 1 week later.. School starts on monday. Had to cancel ticket.

How long does it take to get ones passport after getting approval mail from Ikeja vfs. I got approval mail on Monday, got there today and I was told it wasnt ready. I'll try again tomorrow tho

I got my visa 5 days after approval mail at Vfs ikeja. So you should get tomoa or Monday

Yeah...I did apply on the 12th at vfs Ikeja, finished the whole submission exercise around 2pm and today around 1:43pm, I got the below mail
our application has been approved and the visa has been issued. We aim to return passports to the VAC within 2 working days. You can check the location of your passport at www.tpcontact.co.uk

This is an automated message - do not respond to this email address as incoming mail will not be answered.

I look forward to next week Tuesday when am gonna storm their office to collect my package. Thanks to @Jutswise, SpikeC, Donoms, Fragbon and everybody that has made this thread informative.

C'mon, thats the simplest of all questions and you alone have the best answer to it. How did you make the money in your account? it could av been deposited in your account by your parent, it could have been as a result of your savings, it could av accrued from the profits you made on business. So far its not a stolen money, just tell them the truth about it in as much as you didn't earn it illegally and answering any question regarding that would come out just fine.

My question is about maintenance funds. I know that you must show evidence of 1020*9 months for maintenance funds for London. That means 9180 total. I'd like to ask, for maintenance funds, let's say my school is in London and my accommodation fees are 5000. I have already paid 1020 pounds towards my accommodation. Does that mean I should now show 9180-1020 making 8160 or should I show 8160 plus the remaining 3980 that I still owe the school for accommodation making 12140? Does the question make sense? Please let me know so I can clarify.

Also, has anyone applied in Abuja this week?

Have you checked your Spam folder? if you still cldn't find it there, Just chill till tomorrow and lets see how things pan out. Just relax, if you have followed all the steps laid out on this thread to d latter and you responded well to your interview questions, everything would just be fine.

Am sure my mailbox got tired of me refreshing it today, checkd my spam severally, and I did follow all instructions just that I once had a refusal many years ago and can't find the passport or the refusal letter so I had to use the extra information box to explain and pick Jan 01 1900 since picking a date was mandatory .... Staying positive, hopeful and keeping faith ..... Anyway are u going to Leeds, cos I must ve seen u lastweek

If you have received the approval mail, just go check. . I received the email on Tuesday by God's grace and got my passport back on Thursday. Abuja VAC.
Didn't get any email or anything telling me my passport was ready. Still havn't actually.
