Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by OneNaira6: 5:06am On Feb 20, 2012 |
So which is true? The Nigerian government ceased his body and prompt that it is going to be mandatory burial by them or that there is no money to bury Ojukwu because no other eastern governor is coming forth with money. So many stories written about this, which one we go believe Na wa for the Yoruba bigot on here They said they do not want your help, wetin is the problem? hmm yoruba on NL na wa for una o!!!! Una get so angry whenever Igbo denounce any help or connection from una Calm down jare it's all good. If they don't want your help, they don't want your help. It is not something to get angry over. High_Chief: Thought as much. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by EkoIle1: 5:11am On Feb 20, 2012 |
One_Naira: Olodo shut your mouth. No be your leaders dey go all over the SW begging for help and money?
|
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by OneNaira6: 5:28am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Eko Ile: Back up it. Kindly tell us all this Igbo leaders begging SW for help and money. List them one by one. List the Igbo leaders behind it, list the Yoruba leaders they asked for money and the state this yoruba leaders govern. Abeg, don't force unaselves on people that does not want your help. olodo. They asked Fashola, one yoruba, to provide security and contribute a tiny bit on the Ikemba Day that was scheduled for Igbo's in Lagos. Isn't it his job to safe guard people living within his city? The money bit, he claimed he'll contribute but we aren't even sure if he did. The only other contribution by him was pledging to provide transport for foreign dignitaries from lagos to enugu. Nobody asked him to do that either, na him volunteer to do that Don't add salt in an already salted food especially when that salted food is online for everyone to see. Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), Friday hosted the National Funeral Committee of the Late Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, pledging the support of the state government to the committee to ensure a befitting burial for the former military governor of the defunct Eastern Region. They said they don't want your help, what is your problem? If they don't want it, they don't want it. Shikena. Getting angry over this small things like this, na wa for you o!!!!. You'll kill yourself one of this day with this hypertension of yours if you are not careful. |

Islam is beautiful! Late Umar Musa 'Yar'adua, former president was buried with plain clothes worth less than N1000. Late Ojukwu, wannabe president is drawing a debt of N500m for his burial. God is Great! He never meant to force hardship on us, but spending N500m on a dead person is outrightly super insane. I can build and maintain for 5 good years a world class state of the art University with N500m, with theater hall, 15 lecture halls, 30 offices, laboratories, and even sports center equiped with all amenities. But, this N500m is going to a dead person. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by Osiris211: 5:47am On Feb 20, 2012 |
shame shame!!. Cant even give him a befitting burial? Thesame way they left Peter Obi with huge medical bills after openly making pledges. They should just creminate the "hero". |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by DuduNegro: 5:55am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Auwal, Yaradua was buried within few hours from getting back to Nigerian soil. It has been three or more months since Ojukwu died. He is rotting already, the embalming makeup and chemicals cost a lot. . . . you have to spend a lot to keep maggots out. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by EkoIle1: 5:56am On Feb 20, 2012 |
One_Naira: If you don't know, then shut your mouth. Again, Olodo ni e. Help is help. You can downplay it as much as you want. Fashola is pledging support while your own shameless leaders are backing out.
You people are just too hopelessly shameless when to comes to money. lol @ 65 million for drinks, Shey na Dom Pérignon una won take do faaji or na ojuku una won bury, Una no even fit remove 419 from common burial, lmao |

Gademit, it is all Yoruba's fault! Those basterd Yaribas . They are envious of us, so they sabotaged our Ojukwu's burial. Backstabbers. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by Onlytruth(m): 6:28am On Feb 20, 2012 |
lagcity: You said so yourself, hehehe! On a serious note, even Nnewi town alone can give Ojukwu a world class burial. So, y'all should drop the crack pipes. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by Afam4eva(m): 6:43am On Feb 20, 2012 |
What's wron with some Yoruba on here. Why don't you lot mind your business. You want to organize burial. You must thing this is an owambe. Abeg, back off. @topic I dob't believe the authenticity of this story and even if it were true, it was bound to happen because different selfish groups will see this an an opportunity to sell themselves. I think the money should have been given to Ojukwu's family to organize the burial. When you bring politicians into this kind of thing, there's bound to be problems. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by EkoIle1: 6:48am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Onlytruth: Only419, Ordinary ZIK una no fit give proper burial an u dey talk about world lass, Why do ibo people throw around words like world class, huge and massive when you people are so incompetent and can not even tie your own shoes, Obviously, na u need to lay down the crack pipe,

Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by Onlytruth(m): 6:56am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Eko Ile: ^^ Okay, let me say this now because I think it is time. That story is as FAKE as they come. Here in the US when we wanted to organize a funeral event for Ojukwu, there was a HUGE fracas because my (Nnewi) towns people started organizing it without involving anyone. When I heared about it, I basically warned them to back off. Before anyone knew what happened, other Igbo and Eastern groups threw a HUGE fit about it, and warned us Nnewi folks to back off. The event was eventually organized and funded by ALL Eastern Nigerian groups (and even some SWers). Fact is that Ojukwu is HUGE. That is why no one can reduce his burial to Nnewi affair. So, tell that liar reporter that he has made a fool of his website. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by EkoIle1: 7:05am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Onlytruth: The only lair and fake here is you. We have 2 stories by 2 different sources stating the same thing and even one stating the reason why your greedy and shameless leaders are backing out? lol @ ojukwu is huge, I guess that's why his body is rotting away while you money hungry incompetents bicker away about who is going to be committee chairman and who go pocket money, |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by DuduNegro: 7:05am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Onlytruth, When it was spontaneously announced that Ojukwu's burial has been upgraded and NA will give him military honor burial. . . we all wondered how they came about that sudden change in direction. There was a missing dot! This report is that missing dot and if you connect it with the before and after of the decision, it fits very well in place. This is no fake story, it's authentic. |

If you know Nnewi people well, you would know that they would be itching to do this alone. It has not happened because the man involved is biggger than them. We are talking about the Eze Igbo gburu gburu. |
Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by DuduNegro: 7:17am On Feb 20, 2012 |
If you know Eko Ile well, you know he does not post any story that is fake here. So now tell me, when is Eze gburugburu is going to be buried. You stayed off internet on Feb 3rd. . . a waste of time! You will stay off on Feb 24th, another waste of time . . . . and the mugu is not even buried yet. I wonder what you will do on his burial date. . . stay off the earth? |

Dudu_Negro: And I'm still wondering how this is any of you people's business. Anyway, I just wanted to correct some things. The Great Lion of Biafra will be given a WORLD CLASS burial. And it ain't any of your damn business. I'm off to a more relevant thread. |

Re: Ojukwu's Burial Runs Into Trouble by DuduNegro: 7:32am On Feb 20, 2012 |
Its our business because we are Nigerians. MASSOB and all agitators of a Biafran sovereignty should be banned from the ceremonies. Let me warn you, NA is going to be there in their full ceremonial uniform. It will be an unpatriotic act and a disgrace for MASSOB and Biafran veterans to be at the same venue in their Biafran uniform and flags. So tell all your Biafran soldiers if they dont want to be arrested and locked up not to wear their uniform or flag in presence of those NA guys. Nigeria pardoned Ojukwu, not Biafra. . . so this occasion is about Nigeria. You hear me? No yeye Biafran stuffs. |

Bury a dead man with N500million while millions go hungry. What an irony and wickedness. By the way where are the governors meant to get the money from? steal from the treasury? |
