MY life seems unexplainable. I had been an outcast in primary school coz the boys thought i was a weakling so did the girls. I thought attending a boys' only military secondary would change my story. But finishing from that institution made it worse. The short holidays did not make me have feelings for the opporite gender. Now i'm shy and scared of girls. My friends think i'm an alien because i've got no girlfriend and i don't have intention of getting one. Then yesterday,my best friend called me a 'dead wood' because i told him i was a virgin. PLEASE WHAT DO I DO? |

You are still a stranger to yourself and as you read this you need to know that in this condition no one can help you except yourself. One thing is whatever you are thinking all the time in your mind gradually becomes you. . . And that is the probem. . . so if you are ready to experience a change then you have to first stop wasting time and energy on those silly 'dead wood' thoughts, throw them out and focus instead on thoughts of 'responsibility'. . . Meme Inc.: That was extremely harsh of your friend. Avoid such friends. If not because we are living in a corrupt world, boys like you should be held in high esteem rather than being castigated. Well those are signs of the end time. Confide in a very close friend of your (not the other jack) to tutor you a bit on how to startup a conversation with a female (friend) that practsing with people you know rather than with total strangers. Like someone suggested, try doing online chats with female folks. This might losen you up a bit. I was never a perfect toaster, but founf females always doing the toasting 'cus I am usually witty, very funny and extrenely vast so a found out ladies loved my company. Don't center your conversation on romance only. Learn and talk about Politics, fashion, entertainment, sports, history etc. You never know the highly intelligent girl that will get attracted to you. All the best man. And please don't forget never to feel inferior or have a low self esteem. No matter how poor or ugly you might be, Build confidence! Talk up (audible not shouting), walk confidently and don't be shy to ask questions while in public. |

@OP since most people here seem to be sugarcoating and focusing on the wrong issue, i will therefore be the bearer of bad news: A) stop trying to shift the blame away from the obvious common denominator here: YOU. so the minute you realize that YOU are the problem, the earlier you can fix that (or live with it). if they all think you were weird, from primary school to your today's friend (via military school) then i am safe to say that you probably ARE and its in your nature! B) what do you see when you look at yourself in the mirror? if you look like King Kong then chances of meeting the right person (or even feel good about yourself) will be harder. C) why do you try so hard to fit with the Joneses?! be YOU and stop trying to be LIKE THEM. if you dont have any feelings for the opposite gender, scared of girls, and have NO INTENTION of being with women, then you should NOT try to be with one (contrary to what most people on this thread advised you to) D) have you ever thought of the possibilities that you may be attracted to men, rather than women? (no offense) so many people cannot be themselves because of the stigma of being g[b]a[/b]y/le[b]s[/b]bians in certain society. E) no matter how much social/peer pressure there may be, ALWAYS BE YOURSELF!!!!!! |
