Placed the carbon fibre trim back in the vehicle.

Will place an order for a heat gun. To make the job easier.

Advice for any one trying to wrap interior bits is. Skip all the cheap vinyl on amazon and go for something decent like 3m.

Saves a lot of hassle. This £5 sheet I bought is not sticky enough.

Finished work. Notice the imperfections.

Nice work lungwun...
I'm still working on mechanicals on my e46...i just modified it to a '330', job done not perfect yet. I left the car too long in the mechanic's shop so the seats are ruptured in certain areas. I'll face the 'cosmetics' when I'm through with the mechanicals.
got four new tyres for it today, a new battery, air filter, wiper wash can...
I test-drove it this afternoon, great acceleration but the fuel pump isn't in the best of state. I'll fix a new one on Monday.
couldn't get all pics as my phone went off shortly after.
tyres are 235/40/18.

Does anyone own an 04/06 325i i want to get one and was wondering what are the things too look out for. what could be the best price i could buy such a machine or any advice in general. Also how does it compare to the 06 Lexus IS250 ?
Re: BMW Owners' Forum by yungboss(m): 9:14pm On Nov 18, 2014
The e90 325i is a good car, a friend of mine has one, no real troubles. I only remember him changing the power steering pump, it's weightier than the e46, driven it a few times. Not as punchy as an e46 330i from the-go, but its got a great acceleration almost on a par. I do not know the common problems, my friend says it's been problem free since his dad passed it on to him.
he has the auto.
I don't know well about the is250, but the 2001/2 is300 I have been driven in. A punchy little car like a 3 series. Fun to drive, Wanted to pick it but price too steep for the looks and age. Still not as zippy as a 330i.
in my opinion, the Lexus would be more 'reliable' but the BMW would be my choice. I think the 2001 is300's performance would be below the 2006 325i's

yungboss, I find this quite interesting, pls enlighten me more, i wouldn't mind converting my 318 to 330i.

Some persons have shown interest on X3 but I am yet to see elaborate discussions on X3. What are their merits and drawbacks, which year model should one go for as a foreign used car. Are their parts and repairs expensive? If I should not go for it, what is its mercedes benz equivalent Please, I will appreciate your reply.

Hi all. There's ds 2002 BMW 325i sport, manual a friend fell in love with. He's concerned about its mileage which is around 185,000 km. I'm not familiar with BM as I don't even drive any. When he asked me whether to go ahead or not I search here & found ds thread. The car is in Germany. Thanks.

I dont think 185,000km is very high. it all depends on how the car was treated before she got to that level.
Was it a one owner car?
Does it have FSH?
Were those city or highway miles?

Those are more important questions to ask than the mileage.

My E46 just clocked 145,000 miles (233,000km). and she still purrs along beautifully.

What do you guys service your vehicles with?

5w-30 or 20w-50?

Over the weekend I did a major suspension overhaul. Changed literally everything front and rear. This is how she sits now. A tad but higher but at least all those speed bumps from hell aren't wrecking my underbelly.

Some of these facts you may know, and some you may not, but they are all worth mentioning the next time you want to casually slip your BMW into a conversation among friends or colleagues.

1. BMW first started in 1916 in Bavaria, Germany as an aircraft engine producer. In 1923 they started building motorcycles, and it wasn’t until 1928 that BMW manufactured it’s first car, an Austin Seven.

2. BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke, which in English translates to Bavarian Motor Works.

3. The BMW 303 was BMW’s first car powered by a six-cylinder engine. The BMW 303 was also the first car to have the now-famous kidney-shaped grill.

4. BMW has one of the most popular and recognizable slogans: “The Ultimate Driving Machine.” BMW has been using this slogan for more than 35 years. Other variations of their slogan include: “Sheer Driving Pleasure.” “Joy” and “Designed for Driving Pleasure.”

5. In 1955, BMW rolled out the BMW Isetta, the world’s first mass-produced 3-Litre/100km car. It came after WWII when cheap, short-distance transportation was most needed. This “bubble car” had only 3 wheels and became the top-selling single-cylinder car in the world.

330xi ? Wow!!! this is a crazy machine you've got, brother if you're a traveller like me, then you'll be "the king of the road".
This beast does 0-100km in 6.9 secs, and being an xi then you have the advantage of all wheel drive which means faster take off, less traction problem and more confidence in off road situations.

Crap!

I just filled her up with 20W-50. Need to throw up all that junk and fill her up with the recommended oil.

Is Milemaster 5w-30 any good?

How many quarts will fill her up? i might just do the servicing at home myself.

6.5 litres
Milemaster is good. You can also give coastal a try...mind you they are all synthetic blends..not fully. Its still good, coupled with oem filter you can go up to 7500 miles before another oil change..
Pls drain that heavy oil and use for your petrol generator service...

Hello beemer lovers. Has anyone changed wheel hubs recently? Mine makes a grinding noise when rotated...does it mean the bearing is gone or needs lubricating?
I'm thinking of replacing all though its only the front hubs making the noise....how much can I get oem wheel hubs in lagos?

Good morning everyone & lovely Beemer users.
Aside the oil, what Original ATF is the best for a 2004 BMW 320i Exclusive Steptronic?
Where can I get it ?
What about the Oil-Filter too?
Where can I source it too in Lagos Sirs?
