beethoven:

Here's to all the REAL men out there, Boys play house. Men build homes!!! Boys shack up. Men get married!!! Boys make babies. Men RAISE children!!! A boy won't raise his own children. A man WILL RAISE HIS AND SOMEONE ELSE'S!!! Boys invent excuses for failure. Men produce strategies for success!!! Boys look for somebody to take care of them. Men look for someone to take care of!!! Boys seek popularity. Men demand respect and know how to give it!!!

Definitely you are a woman, and a cheap feminist to boot.

You forget to add that a man opens the car door for a woman, says yes ma'am to whatever a woman says, raises a b/a/s/t/a/rd child that the woman forces on him, loves a woman unconditionally even when the women is cheating on him with his best friend, hands over his paycheck to a woman because he wants to make sure the woman is well taken care off, cooks for a woman, stays home to take care of the child while the woman is out partying, stays home to watch REAL HOUSEWIVES  with their wife.

Ediot!

I bet you don't know that he had first class in University,

In Biochem from Unilag and Ph.D from a shyyty University in the UK? I attended his sermons on numerous occasions for kicks at Onike. Very devious man.

and is a brilliant man who chose to use his talents to serve God.

Very good public speaker. Trust me, anyone bent on taking short cuts to success can do what he is doing. Especially in Nigeria when being able to speak passable English is equated to intelligence.

The guy is a thief and nothing but a freaking thief.

If he isn't a paster today, he could as well be one of the leaders of Nigeria's top companies. I never praise empty barrels. This man is something in his own class.  cool

Dont know about that!

+ Dr Daniel K. Olukoya (go find out about this guy folks!).  cool

Olukoya is Yoruba BTW.

He is a thief like the rest of them.

A big capitalist who thrives on the fears of his congregation.

His sermons are always based on fictional stories of incredulous happenings in the supernatural. He makes his money by scaring the shyyt outta his congregation. I used to laugh my self to stupor when I see ediots in his congregation donating money to his made up causes. I dont know who I dislike more, him or Adeboye. Both are big time crooks!

BTW, very good public speaker by the way. Better than Adeboye, Oyahkilome, Joshua, Adefarasin combined.

My grandma, her husband died, left with children to take care of. Went to the farm day and night, paid for their education, saw them through higher institution i.e Pharm school, Nursing school, Med school, etc. Most of her children are in the US working. And she's in Nigeria enjoying the fruit of her labor.

From my family history, NOBODY can tell me that I can't become what I want. I'll def be holding my PhD degree in my hands a few years from now.

Awa omo Ekiti, Ekiti l'agba wa! cool

You know, I know , and we both know, you just made this up.

Anyway, getting a Ph.D in any field in the social-sciences isnt that a big deal, every one gets it nowadays, especially a black female like yourself who is a double minority. As a matter of fact, just apply and you dont have to show up for interview to be accepted into the program.

Tinubu is arrogant for sure. He thinks because he beat all the drug charges in his past that he is Teflon and the rules do not apply to him. I hope the GEJ makes him realize, soon enough, that he is in the frying pan not the teflon on it.

Some of them are also the best universities in Nigeria, so I think you get what you pay for.

What evidence do you have to support this?

What is their job placement rate compared to public 'ifasity?'

Whether the facts of the case against Tinubu are valid or not, can be debated by us until we’re all blue in the face.

What is unmistakable, however, is that the chief executive of an entire State has now, on numerous occasions, especially in cases involving his corrupt mentor, bailed out on the people of Lagos, and instead preferred to go waste hours sitting idly in Abuja while his constitutional duties are left unattended to.

Is this What being progressive is all about?

Lagos PDP, ACN differ on Fashola's presence at Tinubu's trial

By Seye Olumide

LAGOS State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) are trading words over Governor Babatunde Fashola's attendance at the on-going trial of his predecessor and former governor of the state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Abuja.

While the PDP faulted Fashola's appearance, the ACN cautioned PDP against distracting the governor.

In a statement issued yesterday by state PDP Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, the party berated Fashola for "leaving the state at this critical period", saying that the governor's action has confirmed the suspicion that "his allegiance is to his predecessor and not the state. Otherwise why should a serious governor leave his state at this trying period of Lagos State University Student (LASU) students' unrest and post-local council election protest, among others, for such a matter?"

Gani said the office of the governor of the state was getting completely desecrated because of the influence of one man and the indulgence by the governor.

The statement further stated that by Fashola's attendance, the state may be implicated to appear as "accessory after the fact" of the offence.

According to Gani, "If there is to be any diligent prosecution of a former governor, the present governor must be unbiased and willing to support the overriding interest of the state. But alas, this governor has demonstrated that he may not release any evidence that could help bring to book his predecessor. Lagosians now know that there is too much secrecy in the Governor's Office. No wonder Lagos State has deliberately refused to domesticate the Freedom of Information Act (FoI) ACT".

But the ACN condemned Lagos PDP for allegedly casting aspersions on Fashola for appearing as one of the more than 25 senior advocates who appeared to defend Tinubu at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja yesterday.

In a statement by the state publicity secretary of the party, Joe Igbokwe, ACN said the PDP left aside the worst electoral defeat it suffered in the latest local council elections to see if it can make something out of nothing, pursuing rats.

Igbokwe said: "Governor Fashola is a lawyer and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) for that matter and he understands the implications of his actions and deeds as he does his duty as the Executive Governor of Lagos State. He knows the facts about this case and he understands what is at stake.

"Has Lagos PDP seen the charges against Tinubu? Where is the proof of their phantom charges against Tinubu? Why is Tinubu being tried in Abuja? There are things Governor Fashola knows which little minds in Lagos PDP do not know. Governor Fashola appeared at CCT as a lawyer and not as the governor of Lagos State. That is why he sat where the SANs sat".
