Religion / Re: Is Abortion the same thing as Murder ? by flyKUDE(m): 9:40pm On Jan 20, 2019
An excellent submission brother! One that is not based on religion or any bias, but purely on good reasoning. Your submission is most educating.
johnydon22:
I do not have much interest in your thread having gone over it like a thousand times before. But there are some absurd assertions that caught my attention that i feel should be corrected.

1. It has been shown that fetus feel pain
2. It has been shown they recoil at discomfort.

Therefore, they are not oblivious to external stimuli not even to the threat of death.

3. Obliviousness is not an argument still to kill a human or we could all agree it is morally permissible to kill a comatose patient because, he is oblivious.

This is basically the most absurd assertion from this thread. There is no such a thing as a fully formed human. A human is a state of being not a stage stop conflating the two.

There is never a time something that isn't human becomes human at some point, anything that isn't human isn't human and cannot be human. A human is always a human but goes through several stages of being human.

Human adult
Human adolescent
Human child
Human baby
Human fetus

These are different stages of being human but in all these stages only one thing is constant, human.

An adult is no more human than an adolescent and thus down the chain.

So please, there is no such thing as a fully formed human, unless you should give us the definition of human on which you base this premise.

Cause and effect? It is not the child's fault at any instance.

What stops us from killing out every deformed person on earth now whether they are born or not?

ImperialYoruba:

People with deformity feel eye pressure. When two eyes are looking at them it feels like a scrutiny of a thousand eyes. An invasion of privacy and self, an inquiry into their validity.

They formulate a defense, an outward shield against the perceived intrusion of eyes.

Her frown can be taken as dissaproval of the scrutiny. At an important occassion such as this, you can bet all eyes are on her.

Im against use of alcohol under any circumstance, but there are occassions where its use outweighs its prohibition. I would have put her into a relaxed mood with a little alcohol but not to the point she would loose her reasoning and cause embarassment.

I dont believe she is angry, underneath the stern look she is a happy bride.

You have the wisdom of Solomon bro! I cannot afford to not commend you.

Family / Re: Scared Of Getting Old by flyKUDE(m): 4:40pm On Feb 25, 2008
i like quoting the biblie when it comes to this:ecclesiates 3v1-9,tells me that:THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING! old age inclusive! this whole thread just made my day,we all were born, will grow old(or maybe not),and eventually die someday, its inevitable.the earlier you understand thisand psychologically so too,the better you'll live your life here on earth.

men,if i live to be like eighty yrs or so,i'll sit under a palmwine tree, drink from morning till night, laugh all the way and give lots of good advice to young people.

i await this period of life everyday! thats why i pray for longlife grin
so, nooooo!! i doesnt scare me.

Phones / Re: Guys God I Need Help! My Phone Just Got Microwaved by flyKUDE(m): 11:53am On Jan 31, 2008
belive me, that phone is gone for life! nothing you do can make it work again, microwave of that power, @ 800watts will damage the CMOS film from which all the integrated circuits are made from! in essence, the phone should be canibalised i.e. remove the casings and battery, and then sell them, its irreparable!

Career / Re: Salary In The Nigerian Army? by flyKUDE(m): 2:52pm On Jan 11, 2008
men, i'm almost a soldier myself as i've stayed/lived in the barracks for about 26 years of my life(my dad was in the military).
the question to ask yourself is:
whats my motive of joining the army?-money or admiration for the uniform?
if its the money,, then sorry, the pay is not good(about 65k or so)
if its the uniform, then be reminded that we are in a civilian era and that they've got only little to offer you.
but the final advice is to follow you mind, hey, someone has to do the job!

Romance / Re: Why Do Most Men Not Wear Their Wedding Rings by flyKUDE(m): 11:38am On Dec 03, 2007
i noticed that up north, a ring or no ring is no way of telling whethter or not a (wo)man is married, very few people actuallly wear them here.
, and of the origin of wearing rings in the first place? i also learnt that in rccg these days, they give bibles instead of wedding rings,so in that case, what do you expect?
Travel / Re: Lagos-abuja Bus Fare? by flyKUDE(m): 11:52am On Oct 18, 2007

Romance / Re: The Origin Of Wedding Rings? by flyKUDE(m): 1:06pm On Mar 30, 2007
I absolutely hate it when peeps say something is wrong just because it isn't in the Bible. . . the other day i read an editorial saying that titles like 'Pastor' and 'Priest' are unGodly because they aren't used in the Bible. . .

no one said its ungodly just because its not in the bible, but because some where saying its kinda compulsory, thats why.
