On what capacity did she received them? Her comment is the least of worries but I would like to understand why she was the one to receive them.

Some people don't get it. The six months notice is in between the during of his rent. The notice should have been after the expiration of the rent. That is not proper. If only we know our rights as tenants and landlords

Madam, no vex ooo. So you expect them to serve him after his rent is expired and the landlord should lose six months of rent, right? If there exist such rights and people use it, then we are as wicked as the government we accuse of wickedness.

You will need to reply to him via another lawyer, stating that you want an extra 3 months after the expiration of your rent.

If you stay in Owerri I can assist you, if not, then kindly contact any lawyer near you

Your type will abuse people in power. Is six months of notice not sufficient? What does he need the three months for?

The child is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital and the dad is constantly with him since a week. He's intention is to keep up with the child till the fixed date of the hearing in the court so that he present these evidences

What evidence do you have that the child isn't properly taken care of? With the constant heat in Nigeria and epileptic power supply, how do you rule out rashes?

Who are these clowns at old age? I would have expected that matured people should be able to think but alas, age doesn't translate to maturity all the times.

Business / Re: Naira Maintains Steady Falls As Speculators Scoop Dollars by GboyegaD(m): 12:38am On Apr 27
SoNature:
If you want naira to grow in Nigeria, ban all Nigeria-based businesses from asking for payments in USD. If they won't accept naira from Nigerians, pack up and leave.

Then, criminalise and punish those seen with foreign currency in this country. People who are paid in foreign currency can sell their USD as digital currency and not carry the physical cash.

Unfortunately, this cannot happen here because politicians and their friends are the first set of culprits. When you see the government folks chasing Binance and AbokiFX up and down, they are just looking for ways to distract Nigerians - they know this.

Your response leaves me in awe. How are the Nigeria-based businesses the problem? Ever heard of Balance of Payment and understand how it works? The most interesting thing you are neglecting is the fact that even Dangote Refinery enjoying benefits from the government is importing crude oil from the US. Is he paying in Naira? Let us focus on the important things.

Yes, it was 30minutes.

I also remember telefest where the various NTA stations competed and entertained us to some great TV programs in that one week.

No, it was 6.30...She always had two stories to narrate. Remember? Each story was 15 mins each. Right after the program, the NTA News at 7.pm will commence..

The times changed. There was a time it was 5pm and another 5:30 however, the latest it aired was 6:30pm. Then you have to wait each quarter to know what the time of your favorite program is.

Romance / Re: Real Reason Women Cheat In Marriage – Blessing CEO by GboyegaD(m): 6:12pm On Apr 16
EreluRoz:
She's somehow right but nairaland is not the best place to have reasonable discussion.

Women are not created to provide, it is against their nature, it makes them become masculine and vulnerable to other men. It takes a strong and well disciplined woman to provide and still remain faithful, well, not much of such women exist these days.

Men should learn to be traditional and provide, stop stressing your women and putting them in vulnerable position to other men.

By this, are you speaking for entitled women who choose for selfish reasons to hold unto this default reasoning? Is it okay for the man to cheat when he provides?

I had both Sam's and Costco. I find Sam's to be better. Better prices, larger quantities. Costco has variety but never at the same location. Prices higher because everything's "organic" or "gluten free". Everything impossible to find and it's chaos in there. Even the people at the store don't know where things are from day to day because pallets are just dropped where there is space on delivery day lol. Never heard of WinCo. Must be an up north thing like BJs?

Winco seems to be around the West and they run 24 hours. One of the things I love the most about them is that you can mill different kinds of butter like peanut, cashew, and almond. They also sell different oils you can press fresh.

If you have a Costco, they sell them all the time. Huge bags of them.

I think Sam's Club has less variety compared to Costco. Also, for the bulk items, Costco usually has it bigger than Sam's Club. Unfortunately, the Costcos in town are much farther so for now, still use Sam's Club and WinCo.

lovely and yummy. how did u make this?

Sorry, I have had a very busy week, multiple projects running at same time and Q1 is almost ending.

For the crust, I found one recipe I use. Will loonfir the video over the weekend, hopefully I am chanced. Mainly, it is 4 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of water + 2 table spoons, and 2 1/2 unsalted butter sticks.

I usually put everything in the food processor and process it twice with dough which is 1 minute in all. I then turn it on the board and bring everything together. I wrap in a plastic wrap and keep in the fridge.

Once I finish making the pies, I put them in the fridge for another 30 minutes before baking. This I learnt from Food Show Network. After 30 minutes, I set the oven to bake (350F). While preheating, I egg wash the pies. I bake then usually around 30 minutes. I think you know your oven better.

Dinner from last night:

Each time I tell madam that we should go out to eat, she and my mum will always have reasons to say no.

Last week was mothering sunday and when they turned me down, I decided I was going to bring fine dining home.

First time beef ravioli, chicken francese topped with fresh parsley. I also made a cocktail (no alcohol in it though) which my mom loved so much.
