Dear mamas good day. I sincerely want to say kudos to every mother in the world. After all I saw with my eyes last night I couldn't help but respect women the more. I saw my wife go through the most horrible pain i wouldn't wish for my enemy. She started contracting althrough the night till 4am when I drove her to the General Hospital. On arrival, she was already 6cm dilated. So I paid all necessary bills and went back home to do final clean up. On my way back from home, I received a distressed call from the nurse telling me that my wife had put to bed but.. ....? Wow! I literally fainted on hearing But. .
.. As her last statement. Much later I managed to ask but what? She then said there were complications!! This time I fell dumb until she said the baby came out with wrong position
So they had to tear part of the cervix or so. The baby almost gave up. It was beaten severally till he cried out. Baby admitted in paed. While my wife is still recuperating. This is not BA neither is it BS. I thought I should share my little experience from Father's perspective. In all, we give God the glory!! My wife is unable to stand on her fit at the moment. She lost so much blood. Feels weak and dizzy! But responding to treatment. It was a VD with Tear. To God be the Glory! !! Our son VICTORY is here with us. I want to use this medium to express my profound gratitude to all the mamas that gave me the chance to interact on this forum. It was a beautiful experience. Please, I'm posting on behalf of my Dearest wife @Mbliz because she's a bit depressed if that's the right word to use. Last night while I was at work, she called to inform me that she just discovered water gush out of her body like five consecutive times mixed with Red blood. After a while, she used the restroom to discover another set of mild red blood. So I rushed down home so late like around 11:30 pm. Took her down to the General Hospital and Boom! They got her admitted and stated she's already 2cm dilated. Though she's been have contractions but not quite strong. It comes irregular just normal nothing so serious! Since last night till this morning she's still on 2cm. Please sabi mamas does this call for worry? The doctor says she would remain admitted. And Dear wife is already having Teary eyes asking me to tell the doctor to get her discharged till contraction gets stronger enough. Thanks as I await responses.

Recently I took my wife to General Hospital to register her for ANC and part of the registration requirements is to do HIV test.. Right there and then they asked us to do the test!! While other men were there lamenting, I boldly joined my wife to do it! And we came out clean!! We couldn't be happier!! It's good to know your status! It will help to put you in the right direction! And staying safe will remain your watch word.. This is the 5th time we checked our status!!

my wife successfully wrote the test few minutes ago without the SMS. I think once your bvn and phone number is accurate, you'll have access to the portal. They cannot possibly send SMS to everyone same time. I also read about someone that is currently participating In the 2016 scheme that didn't get the SMS invite but wrote the test and got called up.

Like I said, I just had a discourse with my wife on this splitting stuff. So she explained that it does happen in most cases. Children too have emotions! I remember when we were TTC part of the advice was to live in peace and love with DW because babies don't like a fighting and quarrelling environment. Also, if the baby has gotten used to his dad at such a tender age, the split might affect his health adversely and in rare case, the baby might die if the case isn't handled well and timely. The issue with your DH is similar to that of my wife's parents. Her mum walked out Of marriage because of the promiscuous nature of Her DH. So it affected her growth as a baby! Always sick and down. So the elderly persons In the community told her mum that her frequent illness is as a result of her split with the husband. So they had to use blade to cut most part of baby's body (dw) just to remove the bad blood causing the convulsions. I'm not saying all this to scare you or justify your stay with a man that doesn't value you. This is just the reality. Babies destiny are different. What affects one baby might not affect another. Your case is that of irreconcilable differences with your DH! Hence he has fully made up his mind at this point. Just for the sake of that innocent baby! Plead with him to come check on the little child once in a while where ever he is. My dear, move on!! !! Also pray for God's direction and guidance he won't forsake you.

We had all the chance to make babies but we felt it was in our powers to decide when children will come never knew God has a different plan. You see, you won't understand until you're legally married to your wife. You will hunger for kids!! U are coreect , but that of corporate mail, there was an advert sometime last year or so, the advert has no corporate mail just gmail.com and the advert goes like this "an oil and gas service company is in need of so-so-and-so position" people commented badly that an oil company without corporate mail that are they selling red oil or g/nut oil. So I gave it a trial and applied, my people to my greatest surprise after a week, they invited me with their corporate mail. I got there mehnn it was confirmed oil and gas services company. Another example, my current job its an Event Management. When the advert came on nairaland, no corporate mail just gmail, when I applied I was invited, before going, I contemplated whether to go or not, I decided to give it a trial, bcs I thought it just all these GNLD stuffs, I even dressed casual, mehnn when I got there a very big office, others wore suits. So at the end I was successful.

Blood in stool or vomit.
Fever or feverish feeling.
Vomiting or stooling up to 10 times in 24hrs.
Stomach pain that doesnt ease up after using the toilet.


She doesnt need to eat much at a time, just a little should be enough to enable her take her drugs.
Finally let her rest her feet up and get quality sleep.

thank you so much !! Actually her case isn't as serious as diarrhea!! No fever, No blood in stool or vomit. Though she vomited couple of times yesterday with little or no stool till last night when I made noodles for dinner. I gave her some slice of mangoes and water melon yesterday. She only vomited once this morning but has used the toilet like thrice today. Though she has had some sleep now and feels a bit better....... So will prepare the plain rice now and get her lucozade and 7up as you suggested... I noticed she's selective now. Doesn't want anything at this point. Even the boiled chicken is a NO for her!!! Asking what exactly do you want to eat? Only to get a big NO after suggestion.. Chai!!!!!! pregnancy is indeed another phase of life.... All women need to be adored at this point. God bless all you pregnant women!!! Its not easy!!!! Except the man is closed to the wife he won't know what the lady is passing through. Thanks dear!! Will keep you posted.
