Vinnie2000:

OP
PLEASE DON'T BE ANGRY!! Let me Tell You the Honest Truth!

The reason for the dichotomy or perceived segregation b/w Poly and Uni graduates is mostly due to the Process of their getting admissions.

Polytechnic undergraduates get the Admission all too Easy due to Low Cut-off marks..
All Tom, Dick and Becky gets admitted and Most are Dull or uninterested in Education..
One in my State Delta, Otefe-Oghara, It's like it Harbours all The small small Yahoo Boys in Warri and environs! undecided

But in University, those admitted Most times have written Jamb/Post ume like 2,3x..
Hence somehow making dem More Academically sound than their Poly counterparts!!
Also, Most students go into Polytechnics with Low motivation because of the issue you raised hence they perform poorly in School!
While University new intakes are always Charged n Motivated because of incentives attached to First Class!!

So OP.
The Nigerian society will always Place University graduates Over Poly graduates!!

But Your Institution graduated from shouldn't hold you Back! sad
Billionaires, Magnates, Entertainers, etc graduated from Polytechnics and are Very Successful! smiley

However, being academically sound doesn't ensure you will be a sound employee.

How does Lai Mohammed merited the position Minister of Information? ... He lacks the fundamentals of Public Relation and I learnt he's a fellow of NIPR (Nigeria Institute of Public Relations).

Why is he always on the defensive?

Why do they remain adamant on regulating social media? The same social media they use to get to power.

The FG is just like a lady who snatch and marry another person's fiance, she will never allow any lady get close to her husband.

Politics / Lock Down; No Nigerian Should Suffer Harm Or Pain, Buhari Warns Security Agents by msmon(m): 4:58pm On Apr 03, 2020
The Federal Government has urged security and law enforcement agencies to deploy tact and caution in the course of enforcing the lockdown rules, even, in the face of provocation.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Chairman, Presidential Taskforce Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha made the appeal on Friday in Abuja at the fifth joint national briefing of the committee.

He also appealed to all Nigerians to be law abiding, exercise patience and self-restraint.

“The message from Mr. President is that no Nigerian should on account of these rules suffer any harm or pains during this period or at any time in our national life. We are getting positive reports that there has been high level of compliance with the lockdown orders in Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory.

“COVID-19 remains a potential danger to all of humanity and it threatens our economy and national security, it therefore behoves on us to play our part in the national response very seriously,” Mustapha said.

He said the Federal Government has ramped up its synergy with the state governments through video-conferencing communication and the platform of the Governors Forum and that by these measures, lots of gaps are being closed for uniformity of purpose.

He said, “To the Nigerian traders and business men and women, we appeal for resistance to the urge to hike prices of goods and commodities, during this period as our compassionate nature must prevail. This is the best time to be considerate and to show empathy for our fellow Nigerians.

“In recognition of the danger to which our front-line health workers are exposed to, Government is working with other stakeholders to structure medical and life insurance cover for their protection. I therefore wish to assure them of our commitment and urge them to put in their utmost best as they battle to save us from this ravaging disease.”

He added that the role of the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in this battle is also well recognized and urged them to deploy their resources, especially community-based manpower to shore up the arrangements by the sub-national entities.

Politics / COVID-19: FG Regrets Begging US Billionaire For Ventilators, Deletes Tweet by msmon(m): 3:50pm On Apr 02, 2020

Eniola Akinkuotu, Abuja

The Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning has deleted a tweet in which it pleaded with American billionaire, Elon Musk, for ventilators to treat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ministry also issued a statement apologising to Nigerians for the error.

The Special Adviser, Media and Communications to the minister, Yunusa Abdullahi, said in a statement that the tweet was not done with the permission of the minister.

The statement read, “An unauthorised post was made on the verified Twitter handle of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning. The fact of the post is regrettable because of which it is brought down.

“We have made sure our internal processes are strengthened that such doesn’t happen again. The error is highly regrettable.”

Health / Over 2,000 Persons Have Been Tested For COVID-19 – Health Minister by msmon(m): 4:59pm On Apr 01, 2020
The Minister for Health, Dr Osagie Ohanire, has announced that over 2,000 persons have been tested so far for the COVID-19 disease in the country.

He said this on Wednesday during a briefing by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, noting that the government is making efforts to further expand and improve the diagnostic capacity across the board.

“This week, two more laboratories were added to the NCDC network of molecular laboratories for COVID-19 at University College Hospital Ibadan and Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State,” the minister further stated.

As of today, April 1, 2020, Nigeria has recorded 151 infections with Lagos and the FCT still having the highest numbers of 82 and 28 respectively.

According to Dr Ehanire, a breakdown of the cases shows that about 70% of them are male while about 30% of them are female.

“The age range is mostly between 30 and 60 years but I must be quick to stress that both men and women of all ages can be infected,” he added.

According to him, the Federal Ministry of Health is using the window of opportunity of the lockdown in the FCT, Lagos and Ogun, to accelerate activities to detect, isolate and treat cases.

“This is important because our ability to achieve the objectives in these states and the FCT will largely define our success in slowing the spread of the infection in our country,” he said.

A critical factor, however, will be the cooperation of members of the public and their adherence to the stay-at-home order especially in the areas under lockdown.

By so doing, “you would have contributed to the efforts to put this under control and return to our normal activities” the minister said.

Meanwhile, as part of preparedness in the Abuja metropolis, he noted that there are “over 1000 bed spaces ready for isolation and treatment of mild to moderate cases.

“We have ICU units ready in Gwagwalada and national hospitals for those who may have complications especially those with underlying illnesses like tuberculosis, HIV, Cancer and also the elderly”.

He, therefore, advised Nigerians to protect the elder and other vulnerable groups of people in society.

Health / Coronavirus: We Are Suspending Services – Sex Workers by msmon(m): 10:40pm On Mar 31, 2020
The National Coordinator, Nigeria Sex Workers Association, Amaka Enemo, says sex workers in the country have been forced to suspend activities, especially in Lagos and Abuja due to the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Enemo told The PUNCH on Tuesday that although sex workers offer “essential services” they will remain indoors because their services involve “substantial bodily contact”.

She said the association had been able to sensitise its members to the dangers of COVID-19.

The national coordinator said, “There is sensitisation across the country including within our network. Sex workers also offer essential services. However, there is no way sex workers can do their work without body contact. So, they are staying at home to watch what happens.

“The government has announced a lockdown and as law-abiding citizens, we will not flout the law. If the government says sit at home, we will all obey because nobody wants to die.

“We fall under essential services but ours is peculiar because of the nature of body contact. You cannot compare it to doctors because the doctors are not making full body contact with people the way we do.”

When asked whether only ‘street operations’ had been suspended and if private home services could continue, Enemo said the decision of the association was that “all activities be put on hold”.

The national coordinator said, “The lockdown affects street workers and those at home equally. For the sake of their health, they should all stay at home and avoid bodily contact. So, we stay at home but we are sharing materials that will keep them safe.”

When asked to evaluate the financial impact of the lockdown on sex workers, Enemo said it was the same effect artisans were facing.

She, however, said it was better to protect one’s health.

Enemo added, “Of course it is going to affect them financially but sex workers are not the only ones that make money on a daily basis. It is the same for commercial drivers. Of course, they might have their savings but that does not mean it will not affect them. It is affecting everybody so sex workers are not exempted.”

The national coordinator said her association would accept donations from the government or private sector as this would reduce the impact of the lockdown on members.

“If they are willing to help, we will accept it. It is lockdown. Our business is affected,” Enemo added.

I think the reverse is the case here

Men do go to women for sex, so it simply means that he is giving sex to a woman and when the woman responds back for the act, she is collecting what the guy is giving her which is sex

When women have orgasm, it starts and ends with them but when men have, they poured it into her.

Now tell me with this analysis, who gives and who receives ❓

You may be right base on your analysis but you do agree with;

That women often feel they are doing you a favor when ask them for sex.

Secondly, women often assume that men change towards them after having sex with them. That's how do often say "he changed after he got what he want".

Thirdly, Olosho a giving sex in exchange for money.

Therefore, I beleive women give while men collect.

Nigeria as a case study
