Senseless case....... Stupid man! He should go and mourn his wife. Let him put it this way - He buys a 2000 model Japanese tokunbo car here in nigeria and the car failed brakes and killed all the passengers in the car. A victim's husband decides to sue the Japanese company because the car was manufactured there.....

Real stupidity at work here. is 16m not enough for him ?.....

The sect stated in a statement written in Hausa today in Maiduguri it was happy killing the top retired cop, and bragged that very soon all top government officials will be targeted the same way as they will have no hiding place.

Travel / Re: List Of Nigerian Planes And Their Ages - Read This Before You Fly. by niddamugu(m): 6:19pm On Jun 06, 2012
This question may sound ridiculous: are planes built to last forever?....Imagine Kabo air having one older than yours sincerely. Must we do "oronplane" business? But then age is just a number - the ages do not guarantee safety. Only God does - Prov 21:31 The horse (plane) is prepared against the day of battle (flight): but safety is of the LORD. .

The video about the near disaster after landing......... Anything can happen even after landing. My take on this whole issue is not to start shouting after the occurrence rather it should be a way of life for the govt and it's agencies to always be proactive instead of reactive.

1forall: I once worked there and have friends who still do. From what I know/hear, I choose to believe John Nnorom.

Nnorom - a DISMISSED staff, you - an EX-STAFF - I expect both of you to think and talk alike probably from a disgruntled mind. If you are calling for safety please do so without bias. DON'T raise alarm just for the sake of it. After all, several flights have taken off and landed in our airports after the DANA air crash and these planes carried human beings, not animals.

Theblessed: Thank God I don't fly anything Africa let alone Nigeria wey no dey maintain anything!!

Never, never, never will I fly them - God forbid!!!!

Some people here are saying, Dana Air would now, go for good, really?? undecided Na lie for una!! It is now that they are in business.

They won't go!!! Rather, they'd bury their heads under the sand, waiting and hoping that this is over then - them and their godfathers would go back to the drawing board, re-package and come back in a bigger way minting you lot, who are here complaining and condemning. You all will fly them again - watch it!!!

You know what? You all will continue to patronize them until you get sense.
They will be back on another Brand Name - Watch this space!

Solution is, don't patronize anything Africa then, they'll be out of business for good, and hurt us no more!

Until they are able to meet and maintain International Standards guiding their business operations then, shall we say hello to them - until then vote with your feet and they'll get the message!! angry angry angry

Mumu talk...... Do we manufacture any of these in Africa. What will be will be - only God has mastery of all.

My stack in this mata is that all the Airlines that r faulty shud b grounded by the regulatory agencies.GEJ shud take the bull by the horn by making sure that all those found culpable in this unabetting ritual with nigerias blood shud not only b seen to be investicated, arrested, trailed, but must b seen to b jailed for life to save as deterrance to others who r blood thesty vibires. We shud all also remember that bfore warn is bform arm and may does who lost their lives in the DANA crash RIP.

These people should just keep quiet and stop spreading evil gospels. God is watching over all and when the time is up, no one can stop it. Besides, the government has 90% of the blame for any mishap either road, rail, sea, or air, while 10% may be attributed to human incompetence or ignorance.

Mr. Senseless Governor: when has it been your job to ward people about their jobs? Were you the one that gave the licence to operate or are you now the overseer of the aviation sector? What such of ill-prepared and incompetent individuals do we have in the position of authority? Why do you call in the police when there is a robbery rather than go warning the robbers to be careful of their operational services?

Was Rafa Benitez a UK native ? Was Gerard Houllier a UK native ?

Liverpool is too big a club for experiments. Based on performance which got better result: the natives or non-natives? When Rafa was there, we were among the "traditional" top 4. As yoruba would say Kenny came and " ta bio bio" and what did we get second class (middle) group....

pro01:

I hope you'd be here at the end of next season. I've noted your user name and I will remind you, God willing. But then it depends on what you mean by "greater heights". If by that you mean avoiding relegation and languishing anonymously anywhere at the middle of the table, then I share your optimism - Rodgers should be able to pull that off. . . .blessed are those who do not aim high; they shall not be disappointed.

Good Talk!

Mekky2010: I flew a Chanchangi Airline from Port Harcourt to Lagos in 2009, I have never seen a more dilapidated airline in my life, there was nothing to differentiate it from a standard molue buses you find on the streets of Lagos, but because I was to fly out of Nigeria the next day, and this Chanchangi Airline was the only available option for me to get to Lagos, I took the risk, after we finally landed safely, I knelt down and thanked God...I said never again, but in a country where options are few, situations make people risk their lives daily, flying these moving caskets.

It is God that grants journey mercies. Even a plane on first test drive from factory could crash....

Politics / 78 Yr Old Kogi State Ex-governor Ibrahim Idris, Marries 27 Yr Old As Wife No. 13 by niddamugu(m): 7:43pm On May 31, 2012
There's a common saying in Nigeria that is always used when describing the well to do or the Super rich- Nigerians would say ‘when you are big, you are Big’ That seems to describe the gentleman former Governor of Kogi State. The multi-millionaire, some say now Billionaire who was a 2-time Governor of his state is said to have taken wife nos-13.

Why? We do not know, but the truth about it is that, as long as he can take care of all of them without any complaint, it's nobody's business. From our little understanding of the Quran- the believer can marry as many as 4 wives, if he would be able to love them all equally. Though we don't know how come the former Governor's wives have reached 13? We know for sure he is eminently qualified to take care of them all.

The 78 years old former Governor's new wife is said to be 27 years old, that’s just mere 51 years age difference. Is she not so LUCKY?
With young men not readily around anymore, why not go for the best. The wedding was said to have happened on Friday, April 6, 2012.
